RENEWALS

Titans has been renewed for a third season at DC Universe. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Goliath has been renewed for a fourth and final season at Amazon. (Variety)

The Witcher has been renewed for an 8-episode second season before the first season has given started on Netflix. (Variety)

MOVIE CASTING NEWS

Newcomer Jonah Hauer-King (the TV mini-series Little Women and Howard’s End) will play Prince Eric in the upcoming box office movie Little Mermaid. (Variety)

SERIES ORDER NEWS

Amazon has given a series order to an adaptation of the William Gibson novel The Peripheral with Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy set as executive producers. (Variety)

On November 21, the new mini-series Cheat will debut on Sundance Now.

This 4-part mini-series focuses on a dangerous relationship between university professor Leah (Katherine Kelly from Strike Back and The Night Manager) and her student Rose (Molly Windsor from Three Girls). In what is seemingly an open and shut case of academic deception quickly spirals out of control, ending in fatal consequences and triggering a devastating sequence of events that threaten to engulf them both.

The Netflix feature film The Knight Before Christmas will debut online on November 21.

A medieval English knight (Josh Whitehouse from Poldark) is magically transported to the present day where he falls for a high school science teacher (Vanessa Hudgens from the High School Musical franchise) who is disillusioned by love.

The cast includes Emmanuelle Chriqui (The Passage).
