Disney has given The Mandalorian a second season order. (Variety)

BBC America has given Killing Eve a fourth season renewal. (Variety)

Netflix has given Raising Dion a second season renewal. (Variety)

CASTING NEWS

Actress Sarah Rafferty (Suits) will appear in a multi-episode medical mystery plot on Grey’s Anatomy, starting on January 30. She will play Suzanne, a patient who comes to Grey Sloan for a routine procedure, but develops puzzling complications. (TV Line)

As the major networks’ schedules slowly get back to normal after the holidays, most of the primetime line-up last night was filled with repeats, news, reality and wrestling; but CBS did have new episodes.

Here is how those Friday night dramas fared in the overall ratings:

8 PM Show:
Hawaii Five-0 (CBS) [NEW – Crossover with Magnum P.I.] – 8 million viewers

9 PM Show:

On January 8, the reboot of Party of Five will debut on Freeform at 9 PM.

In this reimagining of the beloved FOX series, the story follows the five Acosta children as they navigate daily life struggles to survive as a family unit after their parents are suddenly deported back to Mexico.

The series stars Brandon Larracuente, Emily Tosta, Niko Guardado and Elle Paris Legaspi as the main cast.

The new NBC drama Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist will air its sneak peek on January 7 at 10 PM.

Zoey Clarke (Jane Levy) is a whip-smart computer coder forging her way in San Francisco. After an unusual event she starts to hear the innermost wants and desires of the people around her through songs. At first, she questions her own sanity but soon realizes this unwanted curse may just be an incredibly wonderful gift.

The cast includes Lauren Graham, Peter Gallagher, Mary Steenburgen, Skylar Astin and Andrew Leeds.

The show will officially debut on February 16.

On January 7, the new spin-off series FBI: Most Wanted will debut on CBS at 10 PM.

In this high-stakes drama the spin-off from FBI, focuses on the Fugitive Task Force, which relentlessly tracks and captures the notorious criminals on the Bureau’s Most Wanted list. Seasoned agent Jess LaCroix (Julian McMahon) oversees the highly skilled team that functions as a mobile undercover unit that is always out in the field, pursuing those who are most desperate to elude justice.

The series also stars Keisha Castle-Hughes,  Nathaniel Arcand, Roxy Sternberg and Alana de la Garza.
