The new TNT series Snowpiercer (based on the box office film of the same name) will debut on May 17 at 9 PM.

This small screen adaptation based on the graphic novel series and film from Oscar winner Bong Joon Ho (Parasite) centers on the remnants of humanity who inhabit a perpetually moving train, with 1001 cars, that circles the globe.

The cast includes Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs [among others].

The UPtv movie Touched By Romance will debut on May 17 at 7 PM.

Young nurse Emma (Rachael Carpani) inspires a famous novelist to reconnect with her estranged son, Justin. With Justin’s arrival, Emma may just have found the companion she never thought she needed.

The cast includes Sam Page, Tessie Santiago, Ernie Hudson and the late Doris Roberts.

On May 17, the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Heist and Seek will debut at 9 PM.

The theft of a rare Elizabethan artifact on display at the Lawrenceton Library’s annual fundraising event leads to capital crimes, when Aurora Teagarden (Candace Cameron Bure) begins her unorthodox investigation and soon discovers not one – but two – murders committed by someone who would do anything to possess “Leicester’s Gift,” the Tudor crown on loan from the Seattle Museum of History.

Niall Matter and Marilu Henner also star.

On May 16, the Hallmark Channel movie How to Train Your Husband will debut at 9 PM.

Jillian (Julie Gonzalo) is a successful marriage therapist and best-selling author. Her career is going just as planned but her own marriage with grad school sweetheart Justin (Jonathan Chase) isn’t as successful. Jillian is an expert in marriages and has wisdom to spare for her clients but seldom listens to her own advice. With help from her mother (Peri Gilpin) and friends Nicole and Aaron (Karla Mosley and Andre Hall), Jillian is hoping to figure out “the secrets to a happy marriage.” But when Jillian finally realizes how she’s taken Justin for granted and wants to make amends, it might be too late.

On May 15, the new Hulu drama The Great will debut online.

This new series is a satirical drama about the rise of Catherine the Great from outsider to the longest reigning female ruler in Russia’s history with the story focusing on an idealistic, romantic young girl (Elle Fanning), who arrives in Russia for an arranged marriage to the mercurial Emperor Peter (Nicholas Hoult).

The cast includes Charity Wakefield and Gwilyn Lee.

Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

On May 11, the season finale of 9-1-1 will air at 8 PM on FOX.

The ABC drama For Life will air its finale on May 12 at 10 PM; that same night The Flash will also air its season finale on The CW at 8 PM.

On May 13, the Sundance drama Liar will air its season finale at 11 PM.

The season finale of Station 19 will air on ABC on May 14 at 9 PM followed by the series finale of How to Get Away With Murder at 10:01 PM; also that night, the season finale of Katy Keene will air on The CW at 8 PM.
