After a tumultuous year, the major networks were back – albeit virtually – with upfront presentations, announcing their proposed fall line-ups that include all of the returning shows and the new shows that will debuting.

Queens – Estranged and out-of-touch, four women in their 40s reunite for a chance to recapture their fame and regain the swagger they had as the Nasty Bitches, their ’90s group that made them legends in the hip-hop world. The cast includes Actress-Rapper Eve, Brandy (Moesha), Naturi Naughton (Power), Nadine Velazquez (My Name Is Earl), Pepi Sonuga (Famous in Love) and Taylor Selé (P-Valley).

The limited series Women of the Movement will air as a mid-season event. The series will shine a light on Emmett Till’s mother, Mamie Till-Mobley (relative newcomer Adrienne Warren), and her fight for justice for her murdered son (newcomer Cedric Joe). The cast also includes Tonya Pinkins, Ray Fisher and Glynn Turman.
