Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

On July 11, the summer return of Better Call Saul will air at 9 PM on AMC.

The finale of Ms. Marvel will air online on Disney+ on July 13.

On July 14, the small screen adaptation of Resident Evil will debut as a series online on Netflix. Based on the horror franchise, this adaptation is set nearly three decades after the discovery of the T-virus, an outbreak reveals the Umbrella Corporation’s dark secrets. The cast includes Ella Balinska, Paola Nunez and Lance Reddick.

The Passionflix movie Resisting Roots will debut online on July 14. Genevieve Harper (Elizabeth Posey) makes the most out of raising her two siblings after their parents’ tragic accident. Trent Fox (Lou Ferrigno Jr.) is known for being a player on and off the baseball field. Can love grow between them?

On July 15, the Amazon movie Don’t Make Me Go will debut online. When a single father (John Cho) to a teenage daughter (Mia Isaac) learns that he has a fatal brain tumor, he takes her on a road trip to find the mother who abandoned her years before and to try to teach her everything she might need over the rest of her life. The film also stars Kaya Scodelario and Stefania LaVie Owen.

The latest adaptation of Persuasion will debut online on Netflix on July 15. Based on the Jane Austen novel, the story is set eight years after Anne Elliot (Dakota Johnson) was persuaded not to marry a dashing man of humble origins (Cosmo Jarvis) only for them to meet again. Henry Golding and Richard E. Grant co-star.

On July 15, the Netflix action movie The Gray Man will debut online. When the CIA’s most skilled operative, whose true identity is known to none, accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets, a psychopathic former colleague puts a bounty on his head, setting off a global manhunt by international assassins. The film stars Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Rege-Jean Page, Jessica Henwick, Bill Bob Thornton and Alfre Woodard.

The movie Love Accidentally will debut online on FreeVee (formerly IMDb TV) on July 15. When their significant others each break up with them, Alexa (Brenda Song) accidentally sends Jason (Aaron O’Connell) a ‘broken heart’ text, thinking she’s texting her friend. The film also stars Denise Richards and Maxwell Caulfield.

Also on July 15, the Disney+ movie Zombies 3 will debut online. The trequel, which introduces a new group of mysterious outer space aliens to the diverse student body of zombies, cheerleaders and werewolves at Seabrook High.

The Christmas in July movie Campfire Christmas will debut on the Hallmark Channel on July 16 at 8 PM. Romance rekindles for Peyton and her closest friends when her parents decide to host a holiday themed reunion before selling their family-owned summer camp. The film stars Tori Anderson and Corbin Bleu.

On July 16, the Canadian drama Transplant will air its second season finale on NBC at 8 PM.

The long-anticipated second season of the CBS drama Blood & Treasure will premiere its first two episodes online on Paramount+ on July 17; while that same night, the season finale of Dark Winds will air on AMC at 9 PM.

Lastly also on July 17, the UPtv movie Love, Fashion, Repeat at 7 PM. When Lisa (Cristina Rosato) returns to her hometown to seek inspiration for her new fashion line, meeting a handsome writer (Victor Zinck Jr.) is the last thing she expects. Will she make time for love?

RENEWAL/CANCELLATION

Paramount+ has given the thriller series Evil a 4th season renewal. (TV Line)

Amazon Prime Video has pulled the plug on the sci-fi series Night Sky after only one season. (TV Line)

HBO has cancelled Gentleman Jack after two seasons. (TV Line)

The Showtime legal drama Your Honor, that stars Bryan Cranston, will end after its upcoming 2nd season. (TV Line)

TV CASTING NEWS

The CW series Kung Fu will welcom Yvonne Chapman back as a series regular for the show’s third season along with JB Tadena being promoted to a series regular. (TV Line)

Ella Jay Basco (Grey’s Anatomy and the box office movie Birds of Prey) has landed a recurring role in the upcoming Peacock limited series A Friend of the Family that is based on the true story of the Broberg family, whose daughter Jan (Hendrix Yancey) was kidnapped multiple times over a period of years by Robert “B” Berchtold (Jake Lacy), a charismatic, obsessed family “friend.” The Brobergs — devoted to their faith, family and community — were utterly unprepared for the sophisticated tactics their neighbor used to exploit their vulnerabilities, drive them apart and turn their daughter against them. “A Friend of the Family” follows how their lives were permanently altered and how they survived. (Variety)

Megan Boone (The Blacklist) will appear in the upcoming FOX anthology series Accused, based on the British show, that opens in a courtroom with a defendant being accused of a crime, then backtracks to reveal how these people got caught up in the extraordinary situations in which they find themselves. (TV Line and Deadline)

Michael Cimino (Love, Victor) has joined the cast of the 4th and final season of the Netflix series Never Have I Ever where he will play Ethan, a skater and new heartthrob at Sherman Oaks High. And, he will star opposite Peyton List (from Cobra Kai) in the HBO Max romantic special B-Loved. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Michael Raymond-James (Lost and Terriors) will play the key role of mob boss Joe Colombo opposite Forrest Whitaker in the upcoming third season of Godfather of Harlem on EPIX. (Deadline)

Eleanor Tomlinson (Poldark) has joined the cast of the Netflix romantic drama series One Day, playing Sylvie. The series charts a series of intense personal encounters between Emma and Dexter that begin on their university graduation day on July 15, 1988. Every episode wthill follow them on that one particular day as they grow and change, move together and apart, and experience joy and heartbreak. (Deadline)

A crossover involving all three Law & Order series is being eyed to launch the show’s respective new season this fall. (TV Line)

TV MOVIE NEWS

ABC has announced its next live-action, animation hybrid movie will be Beauty and the Beast set to debut on December 15 in celebration of the film’s 30th(ish) anniversary. (TV Line)

BOX OFFICE NEWS

Steven Yeun (Minari and The Walking Dead) will star alongside Robert Pattinson in an upcoming sci-fi movie from Bong Joon Ho that follows an “expendable” — a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim — who refuses to let his replacement clone, dubbed Mickey8, take his place.
