Hey All,
Here are the entertainment news items for the past week:

Amazon has announced the main cast for the small-screen adaptation of the box office movie Cruel Intentions, including Sarah Catherine Hook (Netflix’s short-lived First Kill), newcomer Zac Burgess and Khobe Clarke (Firefly Lane and Yellowjackets) [among others] as well as Sean Patrick Thomas (who starred in the original film) and John Harlan Kim (The Librarians and 9-1-1). Broadway vet Laura Benanti and The Closer alum Jon Tenney will have recurring roles. It is unclear at this time if the series will air on Amazon Prime or Freevee. (Variety)

Redmayne will play notorious assassin The Jackal, while Lynch will play Bianca, a tenacious law enforcement agent determined to catch The Jackal. (Variety)
The impossible has happened: Kim Cattrall will reprise her role of Samantha Jones in the upcoming second season of the Max sequel series And Just Like That…in a one-off cameo. (TV Line)
BOX OFFICE NEWS
Outlander alum Tobias Menzies will star alongside Kerry Condon and Damson Idris in the as yet untitled Formula One racing feature film that will star Brad Pitt as a former driver who returns to the sport. What role Menzies will play is being kept under wraps. (Variety)
Dwayne Johnson will be back as Luke Hobbs in a new standalone movie within the Fast and Furious franchise. The film has yet to be given a title and no plot details are available, though. (Variety)
