TV CASTING NEWS
The Maze Runner franchise movies star Kaya Scodelario has joined the cast of the limited series Senna, which is about Brazilian Formula One champ Ayrton Senna. The series will tell the story of the adventure and triumph of the man who became a Brazilian national hero and conquered the world’s attention both on and off the Formula 1 track. (Variety)
Janet Hubert (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum) will guest star in the upcoming season three of Sweet Magnolias on Netflix. She will play Bev Decatur, the mother of Helen (series lead Heather Headley). (TV Line)
BOX OFFICE NEWS
Jennifer Garner is set to reprise her role of superhero Elektra in the upcoming box office movie Deadpool 3. (Variety)
Actress Robin Wright will direct actress Patricia Clarkson in the new film Bingo, a modernized, beautiful take on May-December romance. (Variety)
