Here is the short list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On December 25, the Doctor Who Holiday Special: The Church on Ruby Road will debut online on Disney+. Not a lot is known about this holiday special, but Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) is set to be the new Companion to Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor, and it’s possible this special will be a proper introduction to her character.
The 90-minute Call the Midwife Holiday Special will premiere on PBS at 8 PM on December 25. The special takes place two weeks before Christmas in 1968, where delicate situations cause uncertainty for the midwives. With the upcoming Apollo 8 launch and the festivity preparations starting, a treacherous heavy snowfall may complicate the holiday celebrations for everyone.
On December 27, the season finale of the third season of Slow Horses will air online on Apple TV+.
The season finale of The Long Shadow will air online on Sundance Now on December 28.
Lastly on December 30, the final episode of the second season of the Marvel animated series What If…? will air online on Disney+.
