Here is the long list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On December 12, the final 2023 episode of Found will air on NBC at 10 PM.
The following finales will air on December 13: The Buccaneers on Apple TV+; Quantum Leap on NBC at 8 PM and both Sullivan’s Crossing and The Spencer Sisters on The CW at 8 and 9 PM respectively.
On December 14, the final part of season 6 of The Crown will premiere online on Netflix while that same day the Britbox series Archie will air its season finale online.
The BET+ movies Christmas Rescue and Favorite Son Christmas will both debut online on December 14. Christmas Rescue is about when a man abducts the love of his life from her holiday-themed wedding in a desperate last attempt to win her back, starring Robin Givens, Mario Van Peebles, Raven Goodwin and Mary Kate Wiles. While Favorite Son Christmas is about Pastor Blaine, who has taken over the Graceway Church, whose financials are in dire straits. Looking to the Jubilee to save the day, First Lady Rita suggests a SO GIFTED reunion to rouse the necessary ticket sales. Will the ghost of the (Christmas) past haunt the Church’s future? Or can the brothers, and wives, overcome old gripes to reconcile and harmonize, for a reunion to bring it all back together. The cast includes Loren Lott, Serayah, Lisa Arrindell, Durrell ‘Tank’ Babbs, DeGayle and Darrel McGlothen.
On December 14, the holiday movie An Ice Palace Romance will debut online on Hallmark Movies Now. A journalist (Celeste Desjardins) faces old fears when she returns to her hometown ice rink to cover a story. With the help of the owner (Marcus Rosner) and his young daughter, she begins to reevaluate her life’s purpose.
The holiday movie Heaven Down Here will debut on December 14 at 8 PM on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Inspired by Mickey Guyton’s song, the movie tells the story of four disparate people who find themselves stranded in a local diner on Christmas Eve when a snowstorm hits the town. Imani (Krystal Joy Brown) is a widowed mother of two who’s having trouble making ends meet and reluctantly agrees to work the Christmas Eve shift, where she clashes with her boss Dan (Richard Harmon), who doesn’t exactly embody the Christmas spirit. Felix (Juan Riedinger) is a local pastor desperately trying to secure food for parishioners while his faith is challenged by his son’s alienation. Clara (Tina Lifford) is a hospice nurse with an obstinate patient and whose daughter is moving away, causing her to question her place in this world. Throughout the evening, these four bicker, bond and unwittingly provide each other with the answer to their respective prayers. The movie also stars Phylicia Rashad.
Also on December 14, the Passionflix movie Gabriel’s Redemption Part III – the finale of the franchise – will debut online. This final part will see Gabriel and Julia discover new things about themselves while embarking on a miraculous and unexpected journey together.
The second season of Reacher will premiere online on Amazon Prime on December 15.
On December 15, the Hallmark Channel movie The Secret Gift of Christmas will debut at 8 PM. Bonnie (Meghan Ory) is a personal shopper who helps her new, widowed client Patrick (Christopher Russell) reconnect with his young daughter. Though Bonnie and Patrick’s ideas of shopping couldn’t be more different, she is determined to get Patrick and his daughter everything on their wish list.
The feature film Finestkind will debut online on Paramount+ on December 15. A crew of fishermen tread dangerous waters when their debts start piling up. The cast includes Tommy Lee Jones, Ben Foster, Toby Wallace, Jenna Ortega, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Aaron Stanford, Tim Daly, Lolita Davidovich and Clayne Crawford.
Also on December 15, the Apple TV+ movie The Family Plan will debut online. A former top assassin (Mark Wahlberg) living incognito as a suburban dad must take his unsuspecting family on the run when his past catches up to him. The film also stars Michelle Monaghan, Maggie Q and Ciaran Hinds.
The Lifetime holiday movies The Holiday Proposal Plan and A Christmas Intern on December 16 at 8 and 10:03 PM respectively. For The Holiday Proposal Plan, travel columnist Sonny Kravitz (Tatyana Ali) and her ex-boyfriend Kip (Jesse Kove) are forced to team up to help their best friends Bree (Whitney Able) and Jarod (Geovanni Gopradi) get engaged. To set the backdrop, the four return to Sonny’s parents’ snowy chalet and set up twelve holiday traditions that are celebrated around the world to nudge Jarod to ask Bree to be his wife. But it seems that the proposal plan doesn’t just reignite the love between the engaged couple. Will Sonny and Kip rekindle what they once had? And on A Christmas Intern, with the Holidays approaching, Cecilia (Jackée Harry) discovers that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, so she decides to make a surprise visit to her daughter Alexis (Ciarra Carter) who created and runs “Cyber Santa,” an online gift giving business. Seizing an opportunity to spend Christmas with her daughter and get back into the game, Cecilia becomes an intern at the start-up company and the two learn the importance of family during the most wonderful time of year, while also finding love. The film also stars Vivica A. Fox and Michael Paré.
On December 16, the Great American Family holiday movie Designing Christmas With You will debut at 8 PM. With her career on the line, a decorator (Susie Abromeit) must work with an unexpected partner (Liam McIntyre) to showcase a house for an upcoming Christmas gala.
The Hallmark Channel movie Sealed With a List will debut on December 16 at 8 PM. This holiday season, festive Carley (Katie Findlay) sets out to conquer her list of abandoned resolutions from last year. Aided by coworker Wyatt (Evan Roderick), she finds love and the confidence to chase her dreams.
December 16, the OWN holiday movie The Christmas Detective will debut at 9 PM. A former beauty queen-turned-private investigator (Javicia Leslie) finds her calling, reunites with an old flame (Brad James), and spreads the Christmas spirit when she takes the case of a famous missing portrait at a boutique art gallery. The movie also stars Arnold Pinnock and Kimberly Huie.
The Lifetime movie Merry Magic Christmas will debut on December 17 at 8 PM. As Christmas nears, a financial advisor starts seeing a recurring number: 624. She’s told it’s from a Christmas angel to make her wish come true. She calls it a statistical coincidence. But when she discovers the meaning, she finds love. The movie stars Patricia Isaac and Andrew Dunbar.
Also on December 17, the season finales of the following will air: Lawmen: Bass Reeves on Paramount+; The Gilded Age on HBO at 9 PM and Fellow Travelers on Showtime at 9 PM.
The UPtv movie Dial S for Santa will debut on December 17 at 7 PM. When insurance investigator Lana Lawton (Sarah Dugdale) returns home for Christmas, her only goal is to spend time with her mom (Lynda Boyd) and cheer up her nephew who is upset that his military father won’t make it home for Christmas. When she arrives, however, she discovers that a string of robberies along Main Street has the shop owners scratching their heads over who could have done it. Seeing her chance to earn a big promotion by doing some real P.I. work, Lana puts all of her efforts into trying to solve the case by any means necessary. Now, with Christmas Eve approaching and her suspect list narrowing, Lana must convince Nick (Julian Haig), the police chief, to let her help on the investigation. As the pair start spending more and more time together on the case, they begin to see each other as more than co-investigators. Can Lana and Nick solve the case in time for Christmas and will Lana’s lead suspect disappear on Christmas even with a sleigh full of stolen goods? It may just take a lot of faith and a good bit of Christmas magic for a happily ever after!
On December 17, the holiday movie 12 Games of Christmas will debut on Great American Family at 8 PM. A group of old friends and neighbors are transported into a Christmas-themed board game during a Christmas party. The film stars Johnny Ramey and Felisha Cooper.
The season finale of the MGM+ sci-fi series Beacon 23 will air at 10 PM on December 17.
Lastly, also on December 17, the Hallmark Channel movie Friends & Family Christmas will debut at 8 PM. Overwhelmed by Christmas events and a surprise visit from her parents, photographer Dani asks lawyer Amelia for help. Pretending to date is the perfect solution until real feelings develop. The movie stars Humberly Gonzalez and Ali Liebert.
