Here is the long list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On December 6, the season finale of Black Cake will air online on Hulu while that same day, The Santa Clauses will air its second season finale online on Disney+. Also on December 6, the season finale of SurrealEstate will air on Syfy at 10 PM.
The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie To All a Good Night will debut on December 7 at 8 PM. A small-town photographer (Kimberley Sustad) saves the life of a mysterious man (Mark Ghanimé), who may just be in town to buy her family’s parkland – which is also the location of the annual Christmas celebration.
On December 7, the holiday movie Rescuing Christmas will debut online on Hallmark Movies Now. In a world where Santa (T. Mychael Rambo) is real and wants to drum up some holiday spirit, two of Santa’s elves, Chuck (Patrick Thomas O’Brien) and Debbie (Bailey Stender), devise a plan to grant one human on Earth three wishes to kickstart the holidays. Unfortunately, that human is Erin (Rachael Leigh Cook), who has lost all affection for the season. Even a blind date set up by her sister, with the affable and charming Sam Sam (Page), won’t change her mind about Christmas. But when she makes the mistake of wishing Christmas would “just disappear,” Erin wakes up to a world where the holiday never existed. Horrified, she realizes that she’s taken away everyone’s joy, so she enlists Sam to help her reinvent the festivities from scratch. In the process, Erin learns just how much this holiday and its traditions have meant to everyone around her — and how much Sam has come to mean to her.
The BET+ holiday movie Never Alone for Christmas will debut online on December 7. When Lauren (Mignon) gets cold feet and calls off her wedding to Miles (Allen Maldonado), neither dreamed they would be forced to spend Christmas alone. By coincidence, each winds up at the same Cajun Christmas retreat, each with someone new on their arms. The film also stars Travis LaBranch.
On December 7, the 4-part limited series Archie will debut online on Britbox. Jason Isaacs stars in the four-part drama about the life of Hollywood’s leading man, Archibald Alexander Leach otherwise known as Cary Grant.
The Netflix feature film The Archies will debut online on December 7. Set in ’60s India in a fictional town called Riverdale, The Archies is a coming-of-age musical following the lives of the town’s favorite set of teenagers — Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton (Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Mihir Ahuga, Vedang Raina, Dot and Yuvraj Menda). Seen through the lens of the unique Anglo-Indian community, The Archies explores friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak and rebellion.
On December 8, the Hulu series Culprits will debut online. After a heist, the crew have gone their separate ways, but now, they are being targeted by a killer one-by-one. The cast includes Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Kirby and Kevin Vidal (among others).
The Amazon Prime feature film Your Christmas or Mine 2 will debut online on December 8. They’ve swapped Christmas – again. Can Hayley and James’ relationship survive another turbulent family Christmas or has their future together gone off-piste?!” The film stars Asa Butterfield, Jane Krakowski, David Bradley and Daniel Mays.
On December 8, the one-off film Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie will debut online on Peacock. Monk (Tony Shalhoub) returns to solve one last, very personal case involving his beloved stepdaughter Molly, a journalist preparing for her wedding. The cast includes Hector Elizondo, Jame Purefoy, Melora Hardin, Ted Levine (and others).
The box office movie Leave the World Behind will debut online on Netflix on December 8. A family’s getaway to a luxurious rental home takes an ominous turn when a cyberattack knocks out their devices, and two strangers appear at their door. The all-star cast includes Julia Robert, Ethan Hawke, Mahersahala Ali, Myha’la and Kevin Bacon.
On December 8, the Hallmark Channel movie Magic in Mistletoe will debut at 8 PM. Harrington (Paul Campbell) is the author of a popular book series, but commercial success has left him a bitter recluse. As he returns to his hometown for an annual Christmas festival celebrating his books, he’s joined by April (Lyndie Greenwood), a publicist for the major publishing house he works with. April is there for damage control after Harrington’s recent comments on social media have ruffled some feathers. But as she gets to know him better, hope springs that April can unlock Harrington’s guarded heart and help him rediscover the spirit of the holiday.
The third and final special episode honoring the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who, entitled The Giggle will debut online on Disney+ on December 9. The giggle of a mysterious puppet is driving the human race insane. When the Doctor (David Tennant) discovers the return of the terrifying Toymaker (Neil Patrick Harris), he faces a fight he can never win. Catherine Tate also stars.
On December 9, the Hallmark Channel movie Christmas on Cherry Lane will debut at 8 PM. A young couple preparing to welcome their first child; an empty-nester and her fiancé ready to start a new chapter; and a couple who unexpectedly have the chance to expand their family on Christmas Eve celebrate the holiday as they navigate these turning points in their lives. The film stars Catherine Bell, James Denton, Jonathan Bennett, John Brotherton, Erin Cahill and Vincent Rodriguez III.
The holiday movie A Cowboy Christmas Romance will debut on December 9 at 8 PM on Lifetime. When pro real estate ‘closer’ Lexie Crenshaw (Jana Kramer) is sent to her hometown of Tubac, AZ to close on a big ranch before Christmas, she is soon forced to confront former family drama as well as the sexy ranch owner (Adam Senn) who refuses to sell his home. The film also stars Mary-Margaret Humes and Bruce Thomas.
On December 9, the new movie Meet Me Under the Mistletoe will debut at 8 PM on Great American Family. Two rival realtors (Sarah Fisher and Simon Arblaster) are forced to work together to sell one special house before Christmas.
The UPtv movie Christmas at the Amish Bakery will debut on December 10 at 7 PM. After leaving her Amish community in her youth, a book editor (Alexandra Harris) finds herself in dire need of a new cookbook to save her job. She sheepishly heads home to reconnect with her roots and secretly works with a handsome Englishman illustrator (Sean Koetting) to create a cookbook and save her family bakery.
On December 10, the holiday movie Peppermint & Postcards will debut at 8 PM on Great American Family. When a Christmas letter concerning her love life goes viral, one mom (Ella Cannon) discovers that romance might be right at her door. Christopher Russell co-stars.
The Hallmark Channel movie Round and Round will debut on December 10 at 8 PM. Rachel’s (Vic Michaelis) stuck in a time loop, reliving the night of her parents’ Hanukkah party. Can Zach (Bryan Greenberg), the “nice boy” Grandma’s trying to set her up with, help her make it to tomorrow? Rick Hoffman also stars.
Lastly also on December 10, the holiday movie Yes, Chef! Christmas will debut at 8 PM on Lifetime. Alicia Gellar (Tia Mowry) is a culinary school instructor who has put both her true career aspirations and personal life on the back burner. But this holiday season, fate is on her side. She is invited to compete in the city’s annual Kringle Cook Off and learns a family secret that could change everything and be the big break she needs to become a respected chef like her former boss Bobby (Buddy Valastro). There to mentor her through the competition is the fiery chef and Kringle protégé, Logan (Luke Humphrey), who Alicia builds a real connection with, despite their rocky start. But can Alicia win the cook-off and prove to herself that she is the capable head chef that Logan believes her to be? And will she be accepted by the Kringles if she shares the truth with them? She will have to put it all on the line to find out.
