While they look forward to spending time with their four adult children (Jake Lacy, Alison Brie, Conor Merrigan-Turner and Essie Randles), everything changes when a wounded young woman knocks on Joy and Stan’s door, bringing the excitement they’ve been missing. But when Joy suddenly disappears, her children are forced to re-examine their parents’ so-called perfect marriage as their family’s darkest secrets begin to surface.

The MAX series The Girls on the Bus will debut online on March 14. The story centers on Sadie McCarthy (Melissa Benoist), a journalist who romanticizes a bygone era of campaign reporting and scraps her whole life for a shot at covering a presidential candidate for a paper of record. Sadie joins the bus and eventually bonds with three female competitors, Grace (Carla Gugino), Lola (Natasha Behnam), and Kimberlyn (Christina Elmore). Despite their differences, the women become a found family with a front-row seat to the greatest soap opera in town – the battle for the White House. The cast includes Scott Foley, Griffin Dunne and Mark Consuelos.

Also on March 14, the third season of the comedy series Girls5eva will now air on Netflix, its new home, after airing its first two seasons on Peacock; meanwhile that same night, the season premieres of 9-1-1 (which has moved from FOX), Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 (now in its final season) will air on ABC at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively.

The cast includes Tobias Menzies, Lovie Simone, Patton Oswalt, Glenn Morshower, Hamish Linklater and Damian O’Hare.

On March 15, the season finale of Masters of the Air will air on Apple TV+ online.

The Netflix movie Irish Wish will debut online on March 15. When the love of her life (Alexander Vlahos) gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie (Lindsay Lohan), a shy book editor, puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. But as her dream gets closer to coming true, Maddie realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely. The movie also stars Ed Speleers, Jane Seymour, Elizabeth Tan and Ayesha Curry.

Also on March 15, the Hallmark Mystery (formerly Hallmark Movies & Mysteries) movie Crimes of Fashion: Killer Clutch will debut at 9 PM. An American psychologist, hired to coach a fashion designer, helps a guarded French detective unravel a list of fashionable suspects after a murder happens backstage of a Paris fashion show. The movie stars Brooke D’Orsay and Gilles Marini.

The 55th Annual NAACP Image Awards will air on March 16 at 8 PM on both CBS and BET.

On March 17, the UPtv movie Sweetly Salted will debut at 7 PM. Alison (Lanie McAuley) remains notoriously anonymous when critiquing restaurants; but when she accidentally goes viral for trashing a new restaurant, her editor insists she make amends by going undercover as a prep cook for the chef (William Martinez) she maligned.

The season premiere of Call the Midwife will air on March 17 on PBS at 8 PM followed by the debut of the new drama Nolly at 9 PM followed by the debut of the drama Alice & Jack at 10 PM. For the new show Nolly, it is based on the true story of Noele Gordon (Helena Bonham Carter), one of British TV’s most famous faces in the 60s and 70s, the upcoming, the all-new miniseries explores her unceremonious firing, which became front-page news. The cast includes Augustus Prew and Mark Gatiss. While, the new show Alice & Jack, when Alice (Andrea Riseborough) and Jack (Domhnall Gleeson) first meet they’re bound by a connection so powerful it seems nothing can break it, but will their path lead them to a place of happiness and togetherness? Or will life and their own emotional complexities get in the way?

Lastly also on March 17, the first part of the two-part Investigation Discovery behind-the-scenes look at the Nickelodeon and Dan Schneider scandal, Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, will air at 9 PM. This four-part docuseries uncovers the toxic and dangerous culture behind some of the most iconic children’s shows of the late 1990s and early 2000s, pulling back the curtain on an empire, built by creator (and former actor) Dan Schneider, that had an undeniable grip on popular culture. Series such as All That and The Amanda Show, among others, were obsessively consumed by children across the country and defined comedy for a generation. But behind the upbeat onscreen presence on these shows with questionable jokes and over-the-top sketches, the special reveals an insidious environment rife with allegations of abuse, sexism, racism and inappropriate dynamics with its underage stars and crew. The second part of this special will air at 10 PM on March 18.

Mark your calendars!

(TV Line)
