The new Taylor Sheridan drama Landman will debut online on November 17 on Paramount+.

Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, the series is a modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs.

It’s an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.

The ensemble cast includes Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Kayla Wallace, Jacob Lofland, James Jordan, Michelle Randolph, Mark Collie, Paulina Chavez, Andy Garcia, Demi Moore, Michael Pena and Jon Hamm.

On November 17, the new series Dune: Prophecy will debut on HBO at 9 PM.

The series, created by acclaimed author Frank Herbert, and set 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides, follows two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.

Among the ensemble cast is Emily Watson, Jodhi May, Mark Strong, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel and Yerin Ha.

The Hallmark Channel movie Jingle Bell Run will debut on November 16 at 8 PM.

Avery (Ashley Williams) is an unadventurous schoolteacher whose sister secretly signs her up for The Great Holiday Dash, a Christmas-themed reality competition show where she’s paired with former hockey player Wes (Andrew Walker). Despite clashing at first, Avery’s puzzle-solving skills and Wes’ physical prowess help them excel as they travel from city to city and compete in festive feats that have a local flavor.

It’s not long before a real connection between these opposites begins to blossom. But when Avery overhears a conversation between Wes and a show producer it threatens to derail their budding romance. Keeping their eyes on the prize, the duo continues to dash to the finish line but there may be a more personal adventure for them still in store.

On November 15, the holiday movie Christmas With the Singhs will debut at 8 PM on the Hallmark Channel.

For Asha Singh (Anjua Joshi), Christmas is the most important time of the year. But when she’s stuck working at the hospital during the holidays, she wishes for some much-needed Christmas magic. Enter Jake (Ben Hollingsworth), her former high school classmate, who unexpectedly reappears in her life. After a magical year together, Jake proposes. But their first Christmas as an engaged couple isn’t exactly the fairytale they imagined.

When they head home for the holidays, they quickly discover their picture-perfect romance is about to get a serious reality check: their families couldn’t be more different! Juggling various holiday traditions, big personalities, cultural differences and complicated family dynamics proves to be a challenge as Asha and Jake have to learn if they can bridge their two families and survive a Christmas with the Singhs.

The Netflix holiday movie Hot Frosty will debut online on November 13. Two years after losing her husband, Cathy (Lacey Chabert) magically brings a handsome snowman (Dustin Milligan) to life! Through his naïveté, the snowman helps Cathy to laugh, feel and love again, as the two fall for each other just in time for the holidays and before he melts. The movie also stars Craig Robinson and Lauren Holly.

In Mexico, a lawyer receives an unexpected offer to help a feared cartel boss retire from his business and disappear forever by becoming the woman he’s always dreamed of being. The new holiday drama Holidazed will debut its first two episodes online on November 14 on Hallmark+. This new series focuses on six diverse families, each with distinct backgrounds, cultures, and generations, residing on the same cul-de-sac. As they navigate the joyous chaos of the holiday season, they embrace a family dynamic unique to them. Amid heightened emotions, these families and neighbors engage in both humorous and heartfelt celebrations of their traditions and quirks. Throughout the festivities, they uncover the universal thread binding them all: the various manifestations of love. The Hallmark Mystery movie A Reason for the Season will debut on November 14 at 8 PM. In order to earn her trust fund, Evie (Taylor Cole) is tasked with granting Christmas wishes to the people who saved her life on the night of her birth. To aid in her cause, she employs Kyle (Kevin McGarry), a handsome local attorney, to track down those who helped and attempts to secretly learn what they might want while maintaining her anonymity. With Christmas fast approaching, the heiress and the attorney can’t resist falling for each other’s charms as they ramp up their gift giving efforts. But as time ticks down, will she be able to accomplish the mission and grant all of the wishes by Christmas Eve?

Also on November 14, the new drama Cross will debut on Amazon online. Based on the characters from James Patterson’s best-selling Alex Cross book series. The series stars Aldis Hodge as Alex Cross, the detective and forensic psychologist who is uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify – and ultimately capture – the murderers. The cast includes Alona Tal, Eloise Mumford, Isaiah Mustafa and Ryan Eggold.

The limited series Say Nothing will debut online on November 14 on FX on Hulu. The series tells a story of murder and memory in Northern Ireland during The Troubles that spans four decades, starting with the shocking disappearance of Jean McConville, a single mother of ten who was abducted from her home in 1972 and never seen alive again. The cast includes Anthony Boyle, Hazel Doupe, Josh Finan, Lola Petticrew and Maxine Peake.

On November 14, the BET+ movie Style Me for Christmas will debut online. A boutique owner facing eviction at Christmas gets the fashion assignment of a lifetime when she’s chosen to style a handsome celebrity who’s a playboy. The cast includes Raven Goodwin, Pretty Vee and Mario.

The first five episodes of the new Peacock drama The Day of the Jackal will debut online on November 14. An unrivaled and highly elusive lone assassin, the Jackal, (Eddie Redmayne) makes his living carrying out hits for the highest fee. But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake. The series also stars Charles Dance and Chukwudi Iwuji [among others].

On November 15, the second season of the futuristic series Silo will premiere online on Apple TV+; while on that same day, part 2 of the 6th and final season of Cobra Kai will return on Netflix online.

The UPtv holiday movie A Very English Christmas will debut at 7 PM on November 17. Christmas in the English countryside wasn’t in Emma’s (Kimberley Nixon) plans until her sister, Amy (Poppy Gilbert), plans her wedding for Christmas eve. Dylan (Lewis Griffiths), Amy’s co-Christmas market owner, teams up with Emma to bring order to the whirlwind wedding.

Also on November 17, the holiday movie A Cozy Christmas Quilt will debut on Great American Family at 8 PM. Harmon Walsh (Liam Sullivan), a firefighter, and Ferelith Young (Amy Walker), a quilting teacher, are drawn together to make the perfect quilt for Liam’s sister Lauren’s (Alia Desantis) Christmas wedding. After a rocky start, the pair is forced to put differences aside and decide what is most important this Christmas.

Confessions of a Christmas Letter is the newest holiday movie set to debut on the Hallmark Channel on November 17 at 8 PM. Settie Rose (Angela Kinsey), a quirky family matriarch, enters her town’s annual holiday letter-writing contest but needs help, so she hires struggling novelist Juan (Alec Santos) to craft the perfect letter. When a mix- up leads to the rumor that Juan is engaged to Settie’s daughter Lily (Lillian Doucet- Roche), the whole family scrambles to keep up the charade. As Juan bonds with the Roses and overcomes his writer’s block, Settie learns that embracing her imperfect family is what truly makes her story special.
