Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On February 10, the rom-com This Time Next Year will debut online on The Roku Channel. In this flick adapted from the Sophie Cousens best-selling novel, the story focuses on Minnie (Sophie Cookson from Kingsman: The Secret Service) and Quinn (Lucien Laviscount from Emily in Paris) who were born on the same day, in the same hospital, just one minute apart. Their lives may begin together, but the paths they take from there couldn’t drift further apart. Years later, fate brings Minnie and Quinn together again. Will they embrace the new beginning and take a chance on love? The cast includes Golda Rosheuvel (Bridgerton), John Hannah (the 1999 box office movie The Mummy), Mandip Gill (Doctor Who) and Keala Settle (The Greatest Showman).
The season finale of High Potential will air on February 11 at 9 PM on ABC.
The final episodes of season six of Cobra Kai will air online on Netflix on February 13; meanwhile, that same day, the season finale of C.B. Strike will air on HBO at 9 PM.
Also on February 13, the Amazon Prime movie My Fault London will debut online. An 18-year-old girl moves from America to London with her mother and wealthy stepfather. She meets her stepbrother, and an attraction brews despite their efforts. Unaware, her estranged father tracks her down after release from prison. The cast includes Jason Flemyng, Asha Banks and Matthew Broome.
The movie Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy will debut online on Peacock on February 13. Renée Zellweger returns to the role that established a romantic-comedy heroine for the ages, as Bridget Jones, now a widowed single mother, must juggle work, parenthood and romance. With the help of her loyal friends, Bridget navigates encounters with a younger man—and a series of awkward interactions with her son’s science teacher—as she strives to forge a new path toward life and love. The cast includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Leo Woodall, Jim Broadbent, Gemma Jones, Isla Fisher, with Colin Firth and Hugh Grant.
On February 13, the Netflix movie La Dolce Villa will debut online. The movie follows successful businessman Eric (Scott Foley) as he travels to Italy to stop his daydreaming daughter Olivia from blowing her life savings on restoring a crumbling villa she purchased for $1. Italy, however, has different plans for him as it delivers on its legendary promise of beauty, magic, and romance.
The season finale of Dexter: Original Sin will air online on Paramount+ on February 14; meanwhile that same day, the season three premiere of Yellowjackets will air online on Paramount+.
On February 14, the Apple TV+ movie The Gorge will debut online. Two highly trained operatives (Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller) are assigned a mysterious mission: to guard either side of a deep and impenetrable gorge, without knowing what actually lies beneath them. The film also stars Sigourney Weaver and Sope Dirisu.
The filmed version of the Broadway show Waitress: The Musical will start streaming online on February 14 on MAX. Based on the 2007 film, written and directed by the late Adrienne Shelly, the story focuses on Jenna Hunterson (Sara Bareilles, who created the music and lyrics), a baker and waitress in an abusive relationship with her husband, Earl. After Jenna unexpectedly becomes pregnant with Earl, she begins an affair with her obstetrician, Jim Pomatter. Looking for ways out of her troubles, and at the urging of her friends, she enters a pie baking contest, seeing its grand prize as her chance.
Also on February 14, the UP Faith & Family movie The Love Club Moms: Jo will debut online. A school principal’s (Rebecca Dalton) skills are tested when a new student arrives in her office for detention. When she learns the boy’s father is her high school flame, Ryan, Jo’s world is thrown for a loop. The movie also stars Corey Sevier and Russell Barney.
The Hallmark Channel movie Return to Office will debut on February 15 at 8 PM. After making the return to the office on a hybrid schedule, two coworkers (Janel Parrish and Scott Michael Foster) known to each other only as Ms. Monday and Mr. Tuesday start sending friendly notes, sparking an office romance.
The Passionflix film A Lover’s Vow will debut online on February 15. The movie is based on the book by Brenda Jackson and is the final chapter of the Grangers series. The story is about business mogul Dalton Granger (Robert Christopher Riley), as passionate as he is gorgeous, but private investigator Jules Bradford (Dayna Dooley) won’t give him the time of day. She knows all about the youngest Granger brother, a charming bad boy whose only interest is playing the field. But Dalton is more complicated than that, and he’s determined to show Jules that behind all the bravado is the honest heart of a devoted son, brother and a man whose own life is in peril. Jules is the only person who can protect Dalton, and they embark on a mission to save his family and his legacy. But when their late nights in the office turn into early mornings in the bedroom, Jules and Dalton soon realize they have more at stake than they ever imagined.
Lastly on February 16, the season finale of Dexter: Original Sin will air on Showtime at 10 PM; meanwhile that same night, the season finale of Miss Scarlet will air at 8 PM on PBS. Also, on February 16, the season three premiere of The White Lotus will air on HBO at 9 PM. Also that night, Tracker will air its winter premiere at 8 PM on CBS followed by the time slot premiere of the new drama Watson at 9 PM and the winter premiere of The Equalizer at 10 PM and also that night, the third season premiere of Yellowjackets will air at 9 PM on Showtime.
