Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On April 14, a special, new episode of Found will air on NBC tonight at 10 PM.
Agatha Christie’s Towards Zero will debut online on Britbox on April 16. It’s England, 1936. After a scandalous celebrity divorce, British tennis star Nevile Strange (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) and his ex-wife Audrey (Ella Lily Hyland) make the unthinkable decision to spend a summer together at Gull’s Point, their childhood home and the coastal estate of Nevile’s aunt, Lady Tressilian (Anjelica Huston).With unfinished business between the former childhood sweethearts, plus the presence of Nevile’s new wife Kay (Mimi Keene), tensions are running high. Add to this a long-suffering lady’s companion, a mysterious gentleman’s valet, an exiled cousin with a grudge, a venerable family lawyer, an inquisitive orphan and a French con man, and soon there will be murder. A troubled detective must rediscover his purpose to untangle a toxic web of jealousy, deceit and dysfunction. Can he solve the crime before another victim meets their death? On April 16, the new drama Sherlock & Daughter will debut at 9 PM on CW. Sherlock Holmes (David Thewlis) out of his comfort zone, mysteriously unable to investigate a sinister case without risking the lives of his closest friends. Enter: young American Amelia (Blu Hunt, “The Originals). After her mother’s mysterious murder, she learns her missing father may be the legendary detective. Despite wildly different backgrounds and attitudes, the pair must work together to solve a global conspiracy, crack her mother’s murder, and find out for sure if she really is Sherlock’s daughter. Dougray Scott will play Moriarty.
The new Freeform drama The Stolen Girl will debut on April 16 at 10 PM. This series, based on the best-selling novel by Alex Dahl, tells the story of fascinating, relatable and complex women in an unimaginable situation. The cast includes Holliday Grainger, Jim Sturgess and Ambika Mod.
On April 17, the series finale of Bosch: Legacy will air online on Amazon Prime; meanwhile on that same day, the first two episodes of season five of Law & Order: Organized Crime will premiere online on Peacock. And on that same day, the third season premiere of Leverage: Redemption will air online on Amazon Prime; and also on April 17, the drama Ludwig will air its finale online on Britbox. The season finale of The Wheel of Time will air online on Amazon Prime on April 17; while that same day, there will be a crossover between the NBC dramas Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit starting at 8 PM. Also, the two-hour season finale of the reboot of Matlock will air on CBS on April 17 at 9 PM.
The new drama Ransom Canyon will debut online on Netflix on April 17. With three ranching family dynasties locked in a contest for control of the land, their lives and legacies are threatened by outside forces intent on destroying their way of life. At the center of it all is stoic rancher Staten Kirkland (Josh Duhamel), who is healing from heartbreaking loss and on a quest for vengeance. Staten’s only glimmer of hope rests in the eyes and heart of Quinn O’Grady (Minka Kelly), longtime family friend and owner of the local dancehall. But as the battle to save Ransom wages on, a mysterious cowboy drifts into town, dredging up secrets from the past. On April 18, the finale of Agatha Christie’s Towards Zero will air online on Britbox.
The Hallmark Channel movie Journey to You will debut on April 19 at 8 PM. After missing out on a promotion, Monica reluctantly walks the Camino de Santiago at the urging of her mother. She’s surprised when along the way she finds inner peace and an unexpected romance. The movie stars Erin Cahill and Erik Valdez.
Lastly on April 20, the UPtv movie Sugar Creek Amish Mysteries: Blessings in Disguise will debut at 7 PM. After Cheryl’s 3-year engagement ends in a devastating breakup, her life is turned upside down when her aunt offers her an escape from Chicago to the Amish town of Sugarcreek. Struggling with being a fish out of water, Cheryl uncovers an unsettling secret that could disrupt the small town of Ohio. As Cheryl begins to solve the mystery, she finds community, belonging and the potential of new love. Will Sugarcreek become Cheryl’s new home? The movie stars Galadriel Stineman and Kevin Joy.
