Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On May 26, the 2025 American Music Awards will air on CBS at 8 PM.
The series finale of The Handmaid’s Tale will air online on Hulu on May 27.
On May 29, the third season premiere of And Just Like That…will air online on MAX.
The Amazon Prime limited series The Better Sister will debut online on May 29. Based on the book by best-selling author Alafair Burke, this thriller is about the terrible things that drive sisters apart and ultimately bring them back together. Chloe (Jessica Biel), a high-profile media executive, lives a picturesque life with her handsome lawyer husband Adam (Corey Stoll) and teenage son Ethan (Maxwell Acee Donovan) by her side while her estranged sister Nicky (Elizabeth Banks) struggles to make ends meet and stay clean. When Adam is brutally murdered, the prime suspect sends shockwaves through the family, reuniting the two sisters, as they try to untangle a complicated family history to discover the truth behind his death. The cast also includes Gloria Reuben, Kim Dickens, Lorraine Toussaint and Matthew Modine.
Also on May 29, the new Netflix series Dept. Q will debut online. A brash but brilliant detective (Matthew Goode) leads a cold case unit in this Edinburgh-based drama that also stars Shirley Henderson, Kelly Macdonald, Chloe Pirrie and Mark Bonnar.
The finale of the Apple TV+ series Your Friends & Neighbors will air online on May 30.
On May 31, the HBO original telefilm Mountainhead will debut online. A group of billionaire friends (Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Cory Michael Smith, and Ramy Youssef) get together against the backdrop of a rolling international crisis.
The season finale of Doctor Who will air online on Disney+ on May 31.
Also on May 31, the movie Love on the Danube: Kissing Stars will make its linear debut on Hallmark Channel at 8 PM. The movie originally aired on Hallmark+ on September 26, 2024.
The Tudum Live global fan event for Netflix will be televised on Netflix at 8 PM (ET) and 5 PM (PT) [instead of on YouTube] on May 31. This special will feature some of the biggest stars from the streaming service as well as can’t-miss performances, jaw-dropping reveals and unforgettable moments. Stars from shows like Emily in Paris, Frankenstein, One Piece, Outer Banks, Squid Game, Stranger Things, A Knives Out Mystery and others.
On June 1, the finale of Mobland will air online on Paramount+.
Lastly, the UPtv movie Mr. Pawsitively Perfect will debut on June 1 at 7 PM. An aspiring marketing designer’s (Christine L. Nguyen) favorite foster dog is adopted by a famous but down-on-his-luck furniture designer (Jamie Spilchuk) whom she fears only wants the dog for his new image.
