The much-anticipated spin-off series NCIS: Tony & Ziva made its Comic Con debut with stars Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo taking the stage to share a new trailer and stories from the set of the new series, which will debut its first three episodes on Paramount+ on September 4.
The panel was moderated by NCIS alum Brian Dietzen (who plays Dr. Jimmy Palmer) and executive producer and showrunner John McNamara, who promised the show should appeal to both diehard fans and newbies.
According to de Pablo, the show is “an epic love story about two people going on a journey” while Weatherly shared, “it’s not a will they or won’t they, it’s a when will they.” [It should be noted that since the series will be airing on a streaming service instead of a major network, there will be more depicted than just a shared kiss between the two.]
