On September 29, the Acorn TV drama Murder Before Evensong will debut online.
Canon Daniel Clement (Harry Potter’s Matthew Lewis: he played Neville Longbottom, by the way), a rector, finds himself entangled in a murder investigation after a cousin of the church’s patron is discovered with a fatal stab wound inflicted by secateurs, leading him to unravel the mystery.
The series is set in 1988 in rural England and based on the book by The Reverend Richard Coles.
The movie also stars Tamzin Outhwaite (EastEnders), Sam Baker-Jones (DI Ray) and Adam James (The Buccaneers and Hotel Portofino).
Here is a trailer for Murder Before Evensong:

He is in the long line of great Vicars/Priests who work to solve crimes. I think of Grantchester and Father Brown whose star is Mark Williams a fellow Harry Potter alum.
