On September 10, the Britbox period piece drama The Hardacres will debut online.

The show chronicles the sweeping rags to riches story of a working-class family in 1890s Yorkshire. The series follows the lives, loves and fortunes of the Hardacre family as they move from a grimy fish dock to a vast country estate.

When an accident at work on the docks lands Sam (Liam McMahon) and Mary Hardacre (Claire Cooper) – along with their three kids Joe (Adam Little), Liza (Shannon Lavelle) and Harry (Zak Ford-Williams), and Mary’s inimitable mother Ma (Julie Graham) – unemployed and destitute, they have to think fast.

In a bid to avoid the workhouse, the driven and determined Hardacres put their last penny into a radical business venture they hope will free them from their harsh existence on the quays of the North Yorkshire coast.

Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

On September 1, the new Amazon Prime drama The Runarounds will debut online. The series follows a group of recent high school graduates from Wilmington, North Carolina, who come together the summer after graduation to form a rock band, united by their shared love of music and near-impossible dream of stardom. Over the course of one unforgettable summer, they throw themselves into the pursuit of their big break – falling in love, getting into trouble, and building the kind of bonds that feel like family along the way. The cast includes Lilah Pate, William Lipton, Brooklyn Decker, Hayes MacArthur and a number of newcomers.

The new series Karen Kingsbury’s A Thousand Tomorrows will debut online on Netflix on September 1. This 6-episode mini-series tells the story of Cody Gunner (Colin Ford), a bull rider who is pretty much a legend among the other professionals of his segment. The secret to his success: anger. His equally famous bull-riding father abandoned the family when Cody was just 11 years old. Having lived most of his life with a wall pulled up around him, Cody starts to change when he meets Ali (Rose Reid), a Christian woman who starts to teach him to see the world through another lens.

Also on September 1, the new movie Winter Spring Summer or Fall will debut online on Paramount+. Remi and Barnes (Jenna Ortega and Percy Hynes White), two very different teenagers, meet by chance in the winter of their senior year, then spend four days together over the course of a year that will change their lives forever. Adam Rodriguez and Marisol Nichols co-star.

The finale of Countdown will air online on Amazon Prime on September 3 while that same day, the second part of season two of Wednesday will premiere online today on Netflix.

On September 4, the new spin-off series NCIS: Tony & Ziva will debut its first three episodes on Paramount+. After Ziva’s apparent death, Tony raises their daughter, Tali (Isla Gie). Years later, Ziva (Cote de Pablo) returns and reunites with Tony (Michael Weatherly). Tony’s company is attacked, and the family travels to Europe, trying to learn who’s after them and to trust each other again.

The new Britbox drama Lynley will debut online on September 4. Tommy Lynley (Leo Suter) is a brilliant police detective but an outsider in the force – simply by virtue of his aristocratic upbringing. He is paired with Barbara Havers (Sofia Barclay), a sergeant with a maverick attitude and a working-class background. With seemingly nothing in common and against all odds, the mismatched duo of Lynley and Havers become a formidable team, bonded by their desire to see justice done. His brain and her spirit – his knowledge and her instincts. It is only through working side by side do they both find where they truly belong. The cast includes Daniel Mays.

Also on September 4, the new crime drama The Sunshine Murders will debut its first two episodes on UPtv starting at 7 PM. The series is about an unlikely crime fighting duo made up of two very different sisters. Shirley (Emily Corcoran), a farmer from New Zealand in search of her father, travels to Athens and meets her half-sister and detective, Helen (Dora Chrysikou). Shirley soon helps Helen solve crimes with her ‘bush’ wisdom and wit while they try to find their missing father. The series stars British pop star Peter Andre, Stephanie Beacham, Camilla Rutherford, Nick Moran, Nina Wadia and Marina Sirtis.

The Apple TV+ movie Highest 2 Lowest will debut online on September 5. The Spike Lee directed movie stars Denzel Washington as a titan music mogul, who is targeted with a ransom plot. He is then jammed up in a life-or-death moral dilemma. The cast includes Jeffrey Wright, Ilfenesh Hadera, A$AP Rocky and Aubrey Joseph.

Also on September 5, the finale of Dexter: Resurrection will air online on Paramount+.

The first Hallmark+ franchise movie The Groomsmen: First Look will make its linear debut on Hallmark Channel at 8 PM on September 6. This movie debuted on Hallmark+ back on October 17.

Lastly also on September 7, the new drama Task will debut online on HBO Max and on HBO at 9 PM. Set in the working-mclass suburbs of Philadelphia, an FBI agent (Mark Ruffalo) heads a Task Force to put an end to a string of violent robberies led by an unsuspecting family man (Tom Pelphrey).
