Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On November 19, the finale of The Morning Show will air online on Apple TV; meanwhile on that same day, the finale of Murdaugh: Death in the Family will air online on Hulu. Also, the 59th Annual CMA Awards will air on ABC at 8 PM on November 19.
The Netflix holiday movie Champagne Problems will debut online on November 19. An executive (Minka Kelly) travels to France to secure the acquisition of a renowned champagne brand before Christmas, but her plans are upended when she falls into a whirlwind romance with a charming Parisian (Tom Wozniczka) – only to discover he’s the founder’s son. The film also stars Flula Borg and Xavier Samuel.
On November 20, the second season of Man on the Inside will premiere on Netflix while, on that same day, the finale of The Light in the Hall will air online on both Acorn TV and AMC+.
The holiday movie Dog Patrol: Operation Santa Paws will debut online on both Apple TV and Amazon Prime on November 20. In this holiday adventure, Samuel (newcomer Paxton Kubitz) and his dog Athena face a cunning mob boss to save Christmas. With Sheriff Jacobs (Cuba Gooding Jr.) aiding their quest, his bravery is crucial for a festive resolution.
On November 20, the new drama The Assassin will debut online on AMC+. This new thriller stars Keeley Hawes as a retired hitwoman living on a remote Greek island. When her estranged son Edward (Freddie Highmore) arrives seeking answers about his past, Julie’s violent history resurfaces, forcing them to flee together across Europe. As they uncover a dark conspiracy, their fractured relationship is tested by secrets, betrayal and a threat that could destroy them both. The cast includes Jack Davenport, Alan Dale and Gina Gershon.
The Netflix period piece movie Train Dreams will debut online on November 21. Logger Robert Grainier (Joel Edgerton) works to develop the railroad across the United States causing him to spend vast times away from his wife (Felicity Jones) and daughter and is struggling with his place in a changing world. The movie also stars Clifton Collins Jr., Kerry Condon, William H. Macy and Will Patton as the voice of the narrator.
On November 21, the sequel movie The Family Plan 2 will debut online on Apple TV. Dan Morgan, a former government operative (Mark Wahlberg) is attacked, forcing him and his family to go on the run (again). Pursued across the country, he protects his loved ones while confronting his dark past and deadly enemies, culminating in a showdown in Las Vegas. Michelle Monaghan reprises her role as Dan’s wife Jessica and Kit Harington joins the cast.
The second season of Mistletoe Murders will air its finale on Hallmark Channel on November 21 at 9 PM.
On November 22, the Hallmark Channel movie Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story will debut at 8 PM. The Quinns and DeLucas have lived next door to each other for decades in the shadow of Highmark Stadium – the home of their beloved Buffalo Bills. With their longtime friendship rooted in being proud members of Bills Mafia, the two clans have enjoyed cherished traditions that revolve around cheering for their favorite team – especially at the holidays when they celebrate the last home game before Christmas. Pediatric doctor Morgan Quinn and the Bills’ VP of Stadium Development Gabe DeLuca have been lifelong friends, but Gabe has always held a torch for her – a fact obvious to their families… and everyone else who crosses their path. When Morgan learns from her Uncle Tommy that someone anonymously helped her family get by after he was drafted more than 60 years ago – and that he continues to receive a Christmas gift each year to this day – she decides to find his benefactor and give her uncle a Christmas he’ll always remember. Aided by Bills Mafia friends of theirs, Morgan and Gabe work together to unwrap the gifter’s identity. Along the way, Gabe’s love for Morgan deepens and in turn, she begins to see him in a new light though neither is daring enough to admit their feelings. Meanwhile, Morgan’s hopes of pulling off her surprise for Uncle Tommy get sacked. That is, until Gabe takes matters into his own hands and uses his connections with the Bills to pull off the surprise of a lifetime for Morgan and both their families that will make this a Christmas they’ll never forget. The movie stars Holland Roden, Matthew Daddario and Joe Pantoliano.
The UPtv movie A Royal Christmas Hope will debut at 7 PM on November 23. At Christmastime in New York City, Julia Carter (Jenna Michno) runs a nonprofit helping families in need. Still grieving her husband, she fights to keep hope alive—especially through her non-profit work and the annual tree lighting. Across the ocean, Prince Christopher (Robert Adamson) escapes royal duties for a break in the U.S. When a chance meeting sparks connection, their bond deepens, and secrets and holiday pressures force them to face what truly matters.
On November 23, the new PBS series The Great Escaper will debut at 9 PM. The series tells the true story of Bernard Jordan (Michael Caine) who made global headlines in the summer of 2014, as he staged a “great escape” from his care home to join fellow war veterans on a beach in Normandy, commemorating their fallen comrades at the D-Day Landings 70th anniversary. Glenda Jackson plays his wife.
The third season finale of Tulsa King will air online on Paramount+ on November 23; meanwhile on that same day, the series finale of Billy the Kid will air at 10 PM on MGM+. And, that same night, the finale of Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order will air online on AMC+ and on AMC at 9 PM.
On November 23, the Hallmark Channel holiday movie Melt My Heart This Christmas will debut at 8 PM. Holly James (Laura Vandervoort), a passionate glassblower striving to establish her artistic identity, dreams of showcasing her creations at the Fern Grove Fair. Despite previous rejections from Jack Dubois (Stephen Huszar), who oversees the entries, Holly finds an unexpected opportunity to assist legendary glassblower Bianca Bonhomme, to help Jack. Unfortunately, Bianca is struggling with a creative slump and needs help managing her booth. While Holly assists Bianca, she also secretly displays her own art under a pseudonym and her vibrant work becomes a surprise hit, overshadowing Bianca’s work and challenging the fair’s traditional norms. Holly does everything she can to help Bianca without giving away her identity while also growing closer to Jack, but unfortunately Walter, a news reporter, discovers the mystery and outs Holly, shattering her relationship with both Bianca and Jack. Holly is now forced to pick up the pieces and try to melt them back together.
Lastly, the movie Second Guessing Fate will debut on CW on November 23 at 8 PM. This contemporary romance revolves around Gemma (Danielle Panabaker), a catering company owner who finds herself on a collision course with heartbreak. When her best friend convinces her to see a fortune-teller, she learns that she will face a devastating breakup that will eventually lead her to her true soulmate. Skeptical at first, she starts to believe the prophecy when other predictions come true. The fast-paced story sees her encountering Nick (Corey Sevier), a charming man with gray eyes. Despite her growing feelings for him, Gemma is determined to make him leave her before she falls too hard. Nick, whose ex has just told him that he is a terrible boyfriend, is on a mission to prove otherwise. Ready to settle down with the right woman, he genuinely considers Gemma to be that person.
