Looks like fans in Dallas, Chicago and Miami will get to see some of the stars of The Vampire Diaries in person at local Hot Topic stores in the next few weeks.

As a follow-up to their first successful tour of Hot Topic store this past January in Atlanta, New York/New Jersey and Los Angeles, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Steven R. McQueen, Michael Trevino and Candice Accola will appear in person at the following locations:

DALLAS
Date and Time: Saturday, October 9, at 4:00 p.m.
Location: Stonebriar Centre, 2601 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75034
Cast: Series stars Ian Somerhalder and Candice Accola
Music: Live performance by Sounds Under Radio
For access to event: T-shirts can be purchased beginning October 1

CHICAGO
Date/Time: Saturday, October 16, at 4:00 p.m.
Location: Westfield Fox Valley Shopping Center, 195 Fox Valley Center, Aurora, IL 60504
Cast: Series stars Steven R. McQueen and Michael Trevino
Music: Live performance by Sounds Under Radio
For access to event: T-shirts can be purchased beginning October 1

MIAMI
Date/Time: Saturday, October 23, at 4:00 p.m.
Location: Shops at Sunset, 5701 Sunset Drive, Miami, FL 33143
Cast: Series stars Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder
Music: Live performance by Sounds Under Radio
For access to event: T-shirts can be purchased beginning October 8

Here is how each event is to be run (thanks to a press release by the WB.com for the following details [which are used verbatim]):

1. At each location on the tour, fans will have the opportunity to meet select cast members and ask them questions during a Q&A session, get autographs on a limited edition tour poster and catch a live concert performance by the band Sounds Under Radio.

2. In order to meet the cast, fans must enroll (for free) as an HT+1 member and buy an exclusive The Vampire Diaries Event T-shirt from one of the participating Hot Topic locations.

3. Fans purchasing the shirt will then receive a wristband which will grant them access to the signing portion of the event. (Note: Limit one wristband and one autograph per person. Space is limited. Wristband required for entry to signing. No cameras allowed within Hot Topic locations.)

4. The Q&A session and music performance will be open to the public.

All Hot Topic stores will feature an in-store boutique dedicated to The Vampire Diaries. Items to be showcased include the following.

a. The Vampire Diaries T-shirts and jewelry items
b. The Original Television Soundtrack: The Vampire Diaries, an explosive mix of 16 songs heard in the series by artists ranging from the sultry and haunting Placebo and Bat for Lashes to the sexy dance-pop of Sky Ferreira and the lush Sounds Under Radio, to be released on October 12.

Looks like another one bites the dust!

It has been announced – this afternoon – that ABC is pulling their new drama My Generation after only two episodes.

This makes the second new show of the fall season to be pulled after only two airings. Lone Star on FOX was the first.

The first drama of the fall TV season to be cancelled is the one show that was being heralded as the best new drama of the season: Lone Star.

After two very low-rated episodes the networks has decided to call it quits. New episodes of Lie To Me will start airing in its place started next week (9 PM on Mondays)
