Q&A SECTION (with TV Scoop Team at E! Online, Natalie Abrams at TV Guide and Michael Ausiello at TV Line)

Question: Still not over the fact that Daniel Sharman won’t be returning for Teen Wolf’s fourth season! Are you sure he won’t appear at all? – Hannah

TV Scoop Team: Considering that Sharman requested that Isaac not be killed, there’s a good chance we’ll see those chiseled cheekbones in Beacon Hills again, as Jeff Davis assures, “Whether it’s season four or season five, I would say there’s a good possibility of it.” Someone you will be seeing in season four? A cocky lacrosse player from a rival school, who will stir up trouble for our gang in episode five.

Question: Reign is my favorite show on TV right now. Should we expect another death by the end of the season though? – Danielle

TV Scoop Team: Um, possibly one in every episode. NBD! “No one is safe in this castle,” Anna Popplewell teases. “There are deaths almost every week, but I couldn’t possibly say who will or won’t survive!” As for the finale, the lady-in-waiting says, “It’s going to be enormous. There’s plenty to look forward to and to fear and dread.”

Question: So worried about Thea in tonight’s Arrow! Slade is the worst! – Carson

TV Scoop Team: Ugh, right?! But that’s what makes him such a good villain. “I will say that Thea learns something pretty massive,” boss Marc Guggenheim previews of tonight’s outing. “And it will cause a tectonic shift in her relationship with Oliver.” Uh-oh, sounds like secret daddy issues will be coming to light soon!

Question: Anything Blacklist-related? — Pascal

Natalie: You didn’t think Red would spend all this time helping the FBI go after blacklisters without making some new enemies, did you? The hunter will soon become the hunted when Red learns that someone is dismantling his business piece-by-piece. However, the question isn’t necessarily why this person is trying to rob Red of everything he holds dear, but who he or she is actually working for.

Question: Thanks for the Once Upon a Time scoop, but what’s coming up for Zelena? — Meredith

Natalie: Once has been promising the Wicked vs. Evil battle for a while now, huh? Well, it’s finally going to happen! “This week is the showdown,” executive producer Edward Kitsis says. “We will find out why the witch is green and what she really wants.” Oz-some!

Question: Will we see more Horsemen in the second season of Sleepy Hollow? — Kiichi

Natalie: Chances are very good. “We’ll see even more how the four of them are tied together,” executive producer Len Wiseman says. But before we meet newcomers, the show will also deepen our understanding of the Horseman we already know. “We’ll see how War actually operates,” Wiseman teases. “War [is] a vehicle that Jeremy uses to do his bidding in a way that is really cool and very creepy.”

Question: Any scoop on Unforgettable? — Ronald

Natalie: This Friday’s midseason premiere finds Carrie and Al playing house for a case. But their flame won’t be rekindled until Season 3, which premieres June 29, when Boris Kodjoe’s Secret Service Agent Benjamin Hernandez makes his debut and becomes a third wheel. “They’re hitting it off and it’s safe to say that Al is jealous,” Poppy Montgomery says. “It’s bothering him, and he has to figure out if he wants to do anything about it.”

Question: I’ve been loving all of the Regina stuff this half of the season on Once Upon a Time, especially her scenes with Robin Hood. Any scoop on what’s ahead for that romance? –Stef

Ausiello: Alas, as you saw this week, now that Regina has spied Robin’s tell-tale tattoo, she will keep her fated soul mate at forearm’s length. Explaining her reaction to that reveal, Once co-creator Eddy Kitsis says, “Regina has a very hard time being happy. It frightens her. And she has spent so much time suppressing things, that when she faces them she’s not sure how to react. So for us, it’s about wanting to explore when and how will Regina open her heart, and to whom.”

Question: Do you have any news about Longmire‘s third season? —Maureen

Ausiello: Cady (Cassidy Freeman) will be visited by a former law school classmate, and, yes, sparks will be flying. According to the casting notice, the blue-collar Cameron — who will recur — still has a bit of a crush on Cady, and those feelings are bound to intensify when he agrees to act as her “shadow counsel” on a certain difficult case.

That’s it. Enjoy!

Question: So excited that Kate is coming back to Teen Wolf! But what is she?! – Danielle

Leanne: Jeff Davis, take it away! “She’s…well, I guess I should let it stay secret. I won’t tell you! [Laughs.] But she’s specific and there’s a reason for it.” He adds, “We are really excited about Kate. We’re excited about making her a really powerful villain, about her relationships with both Argent and Derek, and now what she does now that both she and Peter are resurrected.”

Question: Anything on The Blacklist? It’s on fire lately, but I need even more answers about Tom! – Gregory

Leanne: Patience, grasshopper! “There are definitely answers coming at the end of the season, it’s not just going to be questions forever,” Ryan Eggold promises, adding that Tom is “at the point of no return. There’s no going back.” Oh, and prepare to see him improvise a lot when Liz unexpectedly brings his “brother” to town for a surprise visit for their vow renewal ceremony.

Question: I was so excited to hear that you guys are big Orphan Black fans, too! Got any news on my favorite clone Allison?

Leanne: You have no idea how deep our Clone Club devotion goes. In fact, in case you haven’t heard, it’s Orphan Black week on E! Online! We’re rolling out a new and exclusive video each and every day this week to get you all as pumped as we are for season two. (And in case you missed it check out our first two videos here and here!) Nothing’s ever said and done. And I will say to the Emison fans, you never know what could happen again. So stay tuned.”

BOX OFFICE TRAILER

Trailer: Begin Again (with Keira Knightly & Mark Ruffalo)

Q&A SECTION (with Matt Mitovich at TV Line and TV Scoop Team at E! Online)

Question: I could really use some scoop on Pretty Little Liars — preferably on Ezra, but I’ll take anything you have. –Estee

Mitovich: “Anything I have” wins! Early in Season 5, we’ll meet the potentially recurring character of Sydney, a new member of the high school swim team. Speculation here at the office has her either A) sharing a connection to either Emily’s ex, Paige or B) forging a “connection” with Ems herself!

Question: Do you have any scoop on Syfy’s Bitten? There are only a few episodes left. –Carol

Mitovich: This Monday, Jeremy finally tells Elena the truth about why Clay bit her years ago. And then in the April 8 finale, as Elena and the Pack prepare for a final stand against a Mutt army led by Santos and the mysterious James Williams, Elena will cement her status as a heart-breaker — but probably not in the way you’re thinking.

Question: Are we going to see more magic lessons for Once Upon a Time‘s Emma? –Robertino

Mitovich: “That is definitely something that comes up,” says Jennifer Morrison, who describes the Emma/Regina scenes as both “fun” and “interesting.” As she points out, “Regina’s a bit annoyed because Emma wasn’t really into learning magic in Neverland, so there’s some banter back and forth about my ‘reluctance’ to be magical.” But with a Wicked Witch on the loose and Henry in a partially amnesic limbo, “Emma has that extra motivation to reach into place in herself that she’s not necessarily comfortable with.”

Question: Reign is insane right now! What’s ahead? – Luke

TV Scoop Team: More family drama is coming! “You will see some family members,” of some of the characters Anna Popplewell dishes, though she notes no one from Lola’s family has been introduced since her wayward brother.

Question: Any spoilers on Avery and Juliette on Nashville? They’re my favorite couple on the show now! – Jeaneen

TV Scoop Team: Sorry, but there are rocky waters ahead for Juliette and Avery after he is all too quick to be there for a struggling Scarlett (along with her mother, who we’ll meet very soon). The good news? It looks like Juliette will actually be the mature one in this situation. Our girl’s growing up!

That’s it. Enjoy!

Have a great weekend!!

Hey All,

Here are the news items for today:

TELEVISION

Actor Carmine Giovinazzo (CSI: NY) will have a recurring role on the USA Network drama Graceland when it returns this summer for its second season. He will play Sid Markham, the head of LAPD’s Gang Task Force. Sid is more mind than muscle and uses his intelligence and ability to read people as a way to build relationships and close cases; but that doesn’t mean he’s not prone to acts of violence here and there. Briggs (series regular Daniel Sunjata) grows close to him, seeing Sid as a helpful tool in taking down a cartel. (The Deadline Team)

Actress Perrey Reeves (Entourage) will have a recurring role on the USA Network drama Covert Affairs, playing Caitlin, the no-nonsense COO of Ryan McQuaid’s (actor Nicholas Bishop from Body of Proof) security company. (Andy Swift at TV Line and E! Online)

Actress Michelle Borth will be leaving the CBS remake Hawaii Five-0 at the end of this current season. (Michael Ausiello at TV Line)

BOX OFFICE TRAILER

Trailer: Words and Pictures (New Rom-Com with Clive Owen and Juliette Binoche)

ME: Does this mean we may finally start to see a return to REAL rom-coms at the box office or just a tease of what could be if the movie industry would actually relearn what rom-coms really are? Just my opinion!

Q&A SECTION (with Michael Ausiello at TV Line)

Question: Longtime reader, first time question. I’m a huge Scandal junkie and would love some scoop. —Kristen

Ausiello: This Thursday, we will meet the Grant teens, and the family dynamic is far from The Brady Bunch. “We had many happy years as a family, but they have been through a rocky road these last few years,” First Lady Bellamy Young previews. “You read ugly things about your parents in the paper and on the Internet, so yeah, we’ll meet them in a fraught moment. You can imagine teenagers in this situation and how they might react!” Of Lost alums Dylan Minnette and Madeline Carroll, Young raves, Scandal has “incredible, formidable actors who are so capable of carrying this complicated material” — and complicated it shall be. Notes the actress with a laugh, “It so humanizes Fitz and Mellie to see them try and parent! Nothing can undo you like your own teenagers.”

Question: I’m liking The Tomorrow People more and more, but its future isn’t looking too bright. Anything you can say to make me feel better about the odds of a second season? —Joseph

Ausiello: If the Season 1 finale turns out to be TTP‘s swan song, the show is going out with a bang… and a fair amount of nudity. According to exec producer Phil Klemmer, here’s a preview of what’s going down in the May 5 closer: “Someone will die. Someone will be stuck in limbo. The entire world might be ending or might not. [Robbie Amell] will be shirtless [and] will kick some very, very serious ass. Someone will lose his or her powers. A couple that we’ve never seen be intimate will become intimate. Someone will possibly lose their memory…. they’ll be turned into, like, a grotesque automaton version of their former selves.”

Question: Have anything good about Arrow? —KE

Ausiello: EP Marc Guggenheim told Matt Mitovich that next week’s episode is titled “Deathstroke” because it revolves around “the first huge move that Slade Wilson is going to make in his plan to exact revenge.” He also said that as the last episode leading into a brief spring break, it ends on a “bittersweet” — and “very messy” — note.

Question: Any chance we might see an NCIS episode featuring Gibbs and Tony undercover together? If not them, what about Tony taking McGee on his first undercover operation? —Julia

Ausiello: Asked about any such capers, show boss Gary Glasberg would only say, “There’s a bit of an undercover aspect to the McGee storyline with Delilah that’s coming up [on April 8]. We have some fun there.”

That’s it. Enjoy!

BOX OFFICE NEWS

Actor Sam Jaeger (Parenthood) has joined the cast of the upcoming Clint Eastwood flick American Sniper that will feature Bradley Cooper as decorated marksman Chris Kyle, whose memoir American Sniper: The Autobiography Of The Most Lethal Sniper In U.S. Military History serves as the basis for the Warner Bros film. Actor Jon Tenney (The Closer and the short-lived King & Maxwell) has joined the cast of the upcoming film adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel The Book Of Me that will tell the story of Dawson and Amanda, former high school sweethearts who find themselves reunited after 20 years apart when they return to their small town for the funeral of a beloved friend. Their reunion reignites the love they’ve never forgotten, but the duo find the very same forces that drove them apart before live on. Tenney will play Harvey, father of Amanda (played as a teenager by Liana Liberato and as an adult by Michelle Monaghan). (The Deadline Team)

Q&A SECTION (with Natalie Abrams at TV Guide)

Question: When are we going to get Outlaw-Queen stuff from your Once Upon a Time talk with Lana Parrilla? — Sarah, via Twitter

Natalie: Soon, I promise! But the more pressing matter is Regina’s reunion with Robin Hood in Storybrooke. Even though the couple has a (forgotten) history, don’t expect a magical romance right off the bat. “She’s terrified. She’s afraid to open her heart and afraid to let love in,” Parilla says. “So many things have been taken away from her. … She doesn’t believe that… this love has the potential to be as deep and real as she dreamt.”

Question: Do you have any Orphan Black scoop on my favorite clone Alison? — Arianna

Natalie: Poor waspy Alison will be wracked with guilt over killing suspected monitor Aynsley. So, she’ll try to ease her mind by taking on an unusual project that requires her to flex a completely different muscle. Unfortunately, her new gig will put her in even more danger than before.

Question: When are we going to find out who the Clairvoyant is on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? — Taryn

Natalie: Though she wouldn’t confirm or deny my theory that the Clairvoyant is someone we already know, executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen promises the reveal is coming very soon. How soon? Well, the April 1 episode — which features the returns of Agents Hand (Saffron Burrows), Garrett (Bill Paxton), Sitwell (Maximiliano Hernández) and Blake (Titus Welliver) — is shaping up to be pretty super. I hear one of the returning faces is harboring a big secret and another will wind up on the wrong end of a battle with Deathlok.

Question: Please tell me you got more Sleepy Hollow scoop on Season 2! — Sandy

Natalie: I did, and I can tell you the new captain replacing the incarcerated Irving will not be an ally. “It’s somebody who is not in support of Abbie and Crane,” executive producer Len Wiseman says. “They’re going to find themselves in a tricky spot again with the department.” Speaking of bosses, War and Moloch won’t always be on the same side in Season 2.

That’s it. Enjoy!

Red, aka the most kickass Little Red Riding hood we’ve ever met, will be returning to our magical drama pretty soon. Fingers crossed we’ll get a sweet best friends scene with her and Snow!

Question: I still can’t get over Pretty Little Liars crazy finale! Can you give us a tease for season five? – Michelle

TV Scoop Team: Well as you should know by now, our brooding babe, Caleb, will be back in Rosewood by episode five of next season. But, did you know that Caleb might be bringing a few friends along? Executive Producer, Oliver Goldstick, exclusively revealed to us that fans will definitely find out what happened to Miranda in Ravenswood. “Yes, we’re going to try to be as economic and yet elegant as possible without belaboring because they’re not on screen,” he said. “But I think, you know, residents of Ravenswood may even come back to Rosewood. In addition to Tyler, you might have some familiar faces crashing in. Not permanently, just time to time, because he did have a world there.”

Question: In desperate need of some spoilers on Arrow! Will anyone else find out Oliver’s secret this year? So many people are in the know! – Colin

TV Scoop Team: First, let’s address this one: how has Det. Lance not caught on yet that his hooded friend is Oliver, who has dated both of his daughters? “Episode 19 pretty definitively answers that question as far as Lance is concerned and I think that the answer will surprise you,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim teases, adding that a few more people will learn Oliver’s secret by the end of season two.

Question: Where oh where has my weekly dose of Aaron Tveit gone? The wait for Graceland is killing me. – Vicki

TV Scoop Team: They’re working on it, trust us! Season 2 will introduce viewers to Sid Markham, the head of the LAPD’s Gang Task Force. Sid is strong, dependable and when he first meets Mike, he’s extremely helpful—but like many characters in Graceland, first impressions are not necessarily the correct ones.

That’s it. Enjoy!

Q&A SECTION (with Matt Mitovich at TV Line)

Question: Do you have anything for us NCIS: LA/Densi fans? –Krisztina

Mitovich: When I spoke with Barrett Foa and Renée Felice Smith (aka Eric and Nell), they confirmed that there will be “some transition issues” when Kensi eventually makes her way back to the States, ones that affect her partnership with Deeks. “Hetty kind of encourages Kensi to stay close to home, in ops,” Smith previewed. “So she and Eric Beale get to share some time together, which gives Nell and Deeks some time together out in the field.”

Question: Any clue what is going on with Neal on Once Upon a Time? His fans are worried! –Sara

Mitovich: Patience, dearie. Within the next few episodes, the mystery of what’s been going on with Neal in Storybrooke will be answered.

Question: On Once Upon a Time, is there any chance that Snow and Charmings’ new baby is “Dorothy” in this Oz story? –Tom

Mitovich: Funny, Ginnifer Goodwin told me that she and Josh Dallas have batted around that same theory – though at the time we chatted, they were warming up to the Emma-as-Dorothy speculation. But through the filming of Episode 18, at least, there have been no hints either way.

Question: A little bird told me that the Major Crimes cast is coming back to work on Monday. Do you have any inside info on Season 3? –Ilona

Mitovich: Ugh, Sharon’s back. No, not Raydor. (We love her.) I’m talking about Rusty’s other “mother.”

Question: Anything on Season 2 of Orphan Black? –Leia

Mitovich: The Season 2 premiere is, as expected, bananas in all the best ways, quickly bringing us up to speed on (in this order) Sarah, Rachel, Cosima and Allison (whom I possibly heart more than ever). Also, by the end of the hour, there will be a new addition to the “Clone Club” team.

Question: I’ve seen recent promo pictures of George and Lemon from Hart of Dixie (which returns this Friday at 8/7c). Are they just working together as friends or is their hope that it will turn into more? —Tracie

Mitovich: I can confirm that George and Lemon will find themselves increasingly in each other’s orbit, and there will be flying sparks. I can’t confirm, however, whether they’re sparks of love or sparks of hate.

Question: Please get some scoop on Longmire — anything. –Ucano

Mitovich: The Season 3 premiere, “The White Warrior,” is named for a new recurring character that will be introduced in that episode — a young-looking Native American man dressed in white-grey war paint, whom we first meet as he takes part in an almost-forgotten Cheyenne religious ceremony.

Question: I absolutely loved last night’s episode of Arrow. The Suicide Squad was great to see. Is there any chance it could have been a quiet backdoor pilot? –Rick

Mitovich: I like and share your thinking, but with The Flash destined to race onto our screens in the fall, I’d put a pin in any further spin-off plans. Yet as hinted in last night’s final scene, Deadshot et al shall return. “I don’t want to spoil too much where we’re headed,” EP Marc Guggenheim says, “but you haven’t seen the last of Amanda, and you haven’t seen the last of the Suicide Squad.”

Question: Any scoop on Switched at Birth? –Darla

Mitovich: When we spoke to Max Adler, he warned of “some rocky times ahead for Tank and Bay,” ultimately leading to an event that will “leave your jaw dropped and is very shocking and heartbreaking for one of the characters…. What happens in the finale is pretty gut-wrenching stuff.”

That’s it. Enjoy!
