On October 26, the new holiday movie Christmas Wishes & Mistletoe Kisses will debut on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM.

Former interior designer Abbey Fuller (Jill Wagner from the Mystery 101 franchise) traded the uncertainties of running a small business for a 9-5 job that lets her keep a consistent schedule for her five-year-old son Max (newcomer, youngster Wyatt Hunt). Her talent and passion for the work are undeniable and her friend, wealthy widow Caroline Sinclair (veteran actress Donna Mills of Knots Landing fame), is eager to see Abbey re-launch her career. And Caroline has just the project to get her started: redecorating the grand Sinclair family estate, which recently became home to Caroline’s son, Nick (Matthew Davis from The Vampire Diaries, The Originals and Legacies), the CEO of Sinclair Enterprises.

It’s an exciting opportunity – and a daunting one, given the size of the estate and the aesthetic nightmare of its current furnishings. Moreover, Abbey has less than four weeks to complete work on the ground floor, where Nick will host the Christmas Eve gala that could make or break the expansion of the family business. But the biggest challenge may be Nick himself, a buttoned-up workaholic who is too busy to give Abbey any direction.

Plunging into the task at hand, Abbey works her magic not only on the Sinclair Estate, but also on Nick, who begins to show glimpses of the kind, thoughtful man behind the reserved façade. Just as they are edging closer together, a misunderstanding threatens to put the mistletoe out of reach.

When her best friend leaves Harmony for TV stardom in Los Angeles, Corey settles for staying behind, her big city dreams of becoming a theater director sidelined. As their relationship warms, Ryder implores Corey to think about what they might have between them. Their eyes meet again – until a misunderstanding over a past relationship of his threatens to undo everything.

On October 19, the Lifetime original telefilm Patsy & Loretta will debut at 8 PM.

Based on the untold true story of the friendship between two of country music’s greatest icons, Patsy Cline (Megan Hilty from Smash) and Loretta Lynn (Jessie Mueller from Broadway’s Waitress and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical). When they first met, Patsy was already one of the biggest stars in country music while Loretta was just a coal miner’s daughter, starting off with little to her name but a $17 guitar. Instead of seeing Loretta as competition, Patsy took Loretta under her wings to help her make it in Nashville.

Soon, they became close friends, touring together, bonding over their husband troubles and commiserating on being females in the male-dominated music business. Then in 1963, the country music community was struck with a tragedy when at just age 30, Patsy died in a plane crash. Despite the devastating loss of her friend, Loretta continued on in the industry and is today, known as the First Lady of Country Music. To this day, Loretta remains grateful to Patsy for her mentorship and above all, friendship, as the country music trailblazer that paved the way for Loretta.

The cast includes Janine Turner, Joe Tippett and Kyle Schmid.
