On April 22, the Hallmark Channel movie The Perfect Catch will debut at 9 PM.

When her high school boyfriend, a superstar baseball player, returns to town, a single-parent (Nikki Deloach from Awakard and the Hallmark Channel movies A Dream of Christmas and Christmas Land) finds the inspiration to reinvent her struggling diner and revisits the past to find something even better for the future.

The film also stars Andrew Walker (from the Hallmark Channel movies Love on Ice, A Dream of Christmas and Date with Love).

The HBO film The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks will debut on April 22 at 8 PM.

Oprah Winfrey and Rose Byrne (Damages) will star in the small screen adaptation of Rebecca Skloot’s critically acclaimed book that tells the story of Henrietta Lacks, an African-American woman whose cells were used to create the first immortal human cell line.

Told through the eyes of her daughter, Deborah Lacks (Winfrey), the film chronicles her search, with the help of journalist Rebecca Skloot (Byrne), to learn about the mother she never knew and understand how the unauthorized harvesting of Lacks’ cancerous cells in 1951 led to unprecedented medical breakthroughs, changing countless lives and the face of medicine forever.

The new made-for-TV movie Like Cats & Dogs will debut on the Hallmark Channel on April 15 at 9 PM.

Lara (Cassidy Gifford from The Gallows) is a dog lover, while Spencer (Wyatt Nash from Karen Kingsbury’s The Bridge) is a cat lover. Spencer and Lara could not be more different. So when Go BnB lands them – and their pets – in the same lake house vacation rental over summer, they will have to figure out a way to get along without killing each other.

The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Hailey Dean Mystery: Deadly Estate will debut on April 9 at 9 PM.

When the former attorney-turned-therapist helps her close friend, Pam, sell the estate of Pam’s parents, she falls head-first into a harrowing mystery. The Hallmark Channel movie Moonlight in Vermont will debut on April 8 at 9 PM.

After fast-paced New York City high-end real estate broker Fiona Rangely (Lacey Chabert) gets dumped by her boyfriend, she escapes to her family’s quaint Vermont Inn for a few days to slow down and evaluate her life. When her ex-boyfriend Nate shows up at the Inn with a brand new girlfriend, Fiona quickly devises a plan to win him back: pretend the handsome and very laid-back head chef Derek (Carlo Marks from Chesapeake Shores) is her new boyfriend! Much to the surprise of Derek — and to Fiona herself — in pretending to be in love, Fiona realizes she’s been thrown a curveball: her busy and scheduled life may not be what she really wants, discovering that sometimes the best things in life can’t be rushed and are worth the wait.

On April 2, the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Concrete Evidence: A Fixer Upper Mystery will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on the books by best-selling author Kate Carlisle finds singer-songwriter Jewel and Colin Ferguson (Eureka) reprising their roles. Shannon Hughes (Jewel) once again teams up with her partner in crime-solving to hammer out the details of the murder of her friend’s sister that has gone unsolved for over 20 years. When she finds a human skull in the basement of her current project, she sets out to discover who is behind the mysterious death by piecing together clues left behind in the victim’s hidden diary.

With the help of her new client, famous crime reporter and author Macintyre “Mac” Sullivan (Ferguson), they follow the trail to Shannon’s old high school to nail the culprit, but not before another diary is discovered, a murder shocks the resort town, close friends are suspected of foul play, and the truth behind the overwhelming success and generous financial support of the high school’s football team and athletic program is revealed.

On April 2, the Reelz Channel 4-hour mini-series The Kennedys After Camelot will air its two-hour premiere at 9 PM.

The mini-series is based on the best-seller by J. Randy Taraborrelli, starring Katie Holmes as Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Matthew Perry as Ted Kennedy, Alexander Siddiq as Aristotle Onassis, Brett Donahue as John F. Kennedy, Jr., Kristen Hager as Joan Kennedy with Diana Hardcastle and Kristin Booth reprising their roles as Rose and Ethel Kennedy.

The Hallmark Channel movie Love at First Bark will debut on April 1 at 9 PM.

Portland interior designer Julia Galvins (Jana Kramer from One Tree Hill) adopts a dog and seeks the help of expert and handsome dog trainer Owen Michaels (Kevin McGarry from Heartland). When she is hired to design a nursery and a “puppery,” as well as plan a puppy shower fund-raiser for a pregnant client and her pregnant dog, Julia asks Owen’s advice and the two begin to fall for each other.

Gifted
Opens: April 7

Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man raising a child prodigy – his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace from Designated Survivor) – in a coastal town in Florida. Frank’s plans for a normal school life for Mary are foiled when the 7-year-old’s mathematical abilities come to the attention of Frank’s formidable mother, Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan from Sherlock), whose plans for her granddaughter threaten to separate Frank and Mary. The cast includes Jenny Slate (Parks and Recreation, Oscar winner Octavia Spencer and Keir O’Donnell (Sun Records).

Going in Style
Opens: April 7

Lifelong buddies Willie, Joe and Al (Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin respectively) decide to buck retirement and step off the straight-and-narrow for the first time in their lives when their pension fund becomes a corporate casualty. Desperate to pay the bills and come through for their loved ones, the three men risk it all by embarking on a daring adventure to knock off the very bank that absconded with their money. Smurfs: The Lost Village

The cast includes Mike Vogel (Under the Dome), Erika Christensen (Parenthood) and veteran actress Faye Dunaway.

Their Finest
Opens: April 7

The film is set during World War II in the early 1940s, focusing on some filmmakers trying to make a patriotic film about the Miracle of Dunkirk to boost morale of the British during The Blitz. The film stars Gemma Arterton, Sam Claflin, Bill Nighy, Jack Huston, Eddie Marsan and Jeremy Irons.

A Quiet Passion
Opens: April 14

This biographical film will focus on the life of American poet Emily Dickinson (Cynthia Nixon from Sex and the City). The film will also star Jennifer Ehle and Keith Carradine.

The Fate of the Furious
Opens: April 14

With Dom and Letty (Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez) on their honeymoon, Brian and Mia having retired from the game, and the rest of the crew exonerated, the team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Charlize Theron) seduces Dom back into a world of crime he cannot seem to escape, causing him to betray those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before. The cast includes Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Kurt Russell, Elsa Patakay and Helen Mirren.

The Lost City of Z
Opens: April 14

The film tells the true story of British explorer Percy Fawcett (Charlie Hunnam), who journeys into the Amazon at the dawn of the 20th century and discovers evidence of a previously unknown, advanced civilization that may have once inhabited the region. Despite being ridiculed by the scientific establishment who regard indigenous populations as “savages,” the determined Fawcett — supported by his devoted wife (Sienna Miller), son (Tom Holland) and aide-de-camp (Robert Pattinson) — returns time and again to his beloved jungle in an attempt to prove his case, culminating in his mysterious disappearance in 1925.

The Circle
Opens: April 28

A young tech worker (Emma Watson) takes a job at a powerful Internet corporation, quickly rises up the company’s ranks, and soon finds herself in a perilous situation concerning privacy, surveillance and freedom. She comes to learn that her decisions and actions will determine the future of humanity. The cast includes Tom Hanks, John Boyega, Karen Gillan, Patton Oswalt, Bill Paxton and Nate Corddry.

The PBS mini-series To Walk Invisible: The Bronte Sisters will debut on March 26 at 9 PM.

The two-hour movie follows the Brontë sisters in the eventful three-year period that saw them rise from ordinary, unmarried women, taking care of the household and their widowed father, to the secret authors of the world’s most sensational literature.

The cast includes Finn Atkins (EastEnders) as Charlotte, Charlie Murphy (The Last Kingdom) as Anne, Chloe Pirrie (War & Peace mini-series) as Emily as well as Adam Nagaitis (Houdini and Doyle), veteran actor Jonathan Pryce (Game of Thrones) and James Norton (Grantchester).
