Based on information provided by the Box Office Mojo and some internet research, here are just some of the movies you can expect to see in the movie theatres in July:

Terminator: Genisys
Opens: July 1

When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance against Skynet, sends Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect his mother, Sarah (Emilia Clarke), from a Terminator assassin, an unexpected turn of events creates an altered timeline. Instead of a scared waitress, Sarah is a skilled fighter and has a Terminator guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger) by her side. Faced with unlikely allies and dangerous new enemies, Reese sets out on an unexpected new mission: reset the future. The cast also includes Matt Smith (Doctor Who), J.K. Simmons (Whiplash), Courtney B. Vance (Scandal) and Lee Byung-hun (Red 2)

Jackie & Ryan
Opens: July 3

Ryan Brenner (Ben Barnes), a travelling musician, and Jackie Laurel (Katherine Heigl), a former singer at a crossroads in her marriage, meet by chance while Ryan is busking on the street. They share an immediate connection, but it’s fleeting, until a sudden accident propels them together. Soon, Ryan finds himself at Jackie’s house for dinner, where they discover they share more than a passion for music. Ryan’s battling to find the courage to write his own music and Jackie’s fighting an estranged husband who wants custody of her daughter. The two form an unlikely relationship that may change their lives forever. The film also stars Clea DuVall (The Lizzie Bordon Chronicles), Sheryl Lee (Twin Peaks) and Emily Alyn Lind (Revenge).

Minions
Opens: July 10

Evolving from single-celled yellow organisms at the dawn of time, Minions live to serve, but find themselves working for a continual series of unsuccessful masters, from T. Rex to Napoleon. Without a master to grovel for, the Minions fall into a deep depression. But one minion, Kevin, has a plan. Accompanied by his pals Stuart and Bob, Kevin sets forth to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow. Their search leads them to Scarlet Overkill, the world’s first-ever super-villainess. Voices are provided by Pierre Coffin, Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, Steve Coogan and Geoffrey Rush.

Self/Less
Opens: July 10

An extremely wealthy aristocrat (Ben Kingsley) dying from cancer, undergoes a radical medical procedure that transfers his consciousness into the body of a healthy young man (Ryan Reynolds). But all is not as it seems when he starts to uncover the mystery of the body’s origin, discovering the body was not the empty flesh he was promised and had a life and family before he was used for his own body, and the “organization” that will kill to protect its cause. To make matters worse, he faces the threat of losing control of the body he now possesses and its original owner’s consciousness resurfacing, which will erase his mind in the process. The cast includes Matthew Goode (The Good Wife), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Natalie Martinez (Under the Dome and Secrets and Lies), Victor Garber (The Flash and Alias) and Derek Luke (Captain America: The First Avenger).

Ant-Man
Opens: July 17

Thief Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must aid his mentor Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) in safeguarding the mystery of the Ant-Man technology – which allows its user to decrease in size but increase in strength – from various new threats, and plot a heist that will save the Earth. The film also stars Evangeline Lilly (Lost), Corey Stoll (The Strain), Bobby Cannavale (Spy), Michael Pena (End of Watch) and Judy Greer (Jurassic World and Married).

Mr. Holmes
Opens: July 17

In 1947, the long-retired Sherlock Holmes (Sir Ian McKellen), aged 93, lives in a remote Sussex farmhouse with his housekeeper, Mrs. Munro, and her young son, Roger. Holmes is unhappy about his ex-partner Watson’s published version of his last case, which involved a young married woman who was distraught after two failed pregnancies. Holmes hopes to write his own account, but due to the deterioration of his memory struggles to remember what happened. The cast includes Laura Linney (The Big C), Phil Davis (Poldark) and Hiroyuki Sanada (Revenge and Extant)

Paper Towns
Opens: July 24

Taking place in Orlando, Florida, Quentin “Q” Jacobsen (Nat Wolff from The Fault in Our Stars) lives next door to Margo Roth Spiegelman (Model Cara Delevingne), his childhood friend from whom he has since drifted, but still has feelings for. So when she one day climbs through his window and summons him on an all-night road trip of revenge, he cannot help but follow her lead. The next day, however, Margo doesn’t come to school, and after a few days it becomes apparent she is missing. Q soon learns that there are clues in her disappearance that seem meant for him to make sense of. But as he gets deeper into the mystery and discovers more about the person Margo actually is, he becomes less sure of who and what he is looking for. The cast includes Halston Sage (Crisis), Caitlin Carver (The Fosters), Austin Abrams (The Walking Dead), Cara Buono (Person of Interest) and relative newcomer Justice Smith.

Southpaw
Opens: July 24

Billy Hope (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a one-time boxer at the height of his fame, with a fancy house and a loving family, and despite his career, his wife Maureen (Rachel McAdams), pleads for him to quit so he can spend time with his daughter Leila (Oona Laurence). He announces his retirement during a party, but when Maureen is accidentally killed during an altercation with another boxer, his world falls apart. When he loses Leila to child protection services due to his destructive behavior, his last hope is returning to the world of boxing with the help of trainer Titus “Tick” Wills (Forest Whitaker) in order to reunite with Leila. The film also stars Naomie Harris (Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and Skyfall) and Tyrese Gibson (Fast and Furious franchise).

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation
Opens: July 31

The IMF agency comes under threat from the Syndicate, a near-mythical organization of assassins and rogue operatives who kill to order. Faced with the IMF’s disbandment, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) assembles his team for their final and most difficult mission —to prove the Syndicate’s existence and bring the organization down by any means necessary. The cast includes Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson (The White Queen and The Red Tent).

A Country Wedding

The Hallmark Channel movie A Country Wedding will debut on June 27 at 9 PM.

A famous country singer (Jesse Metcalfe from Desperate Housewives), set to marry a glamorous Hollywood actress, returns to his small town roots. When he crosses paths with his childhood sweetheart (Autumn Reeser from The O.C. and Necessary Roughness) – and finally feels inspired to write songs again – he reevaluates his life, his values and his opinion of true love. As his wedding day approaches, he must decide if he has chosen the right woman to be his wife.

The cast includes also includes Laura Mennell (Alphas) and Lauren Holly (NCIS and Motive).

The Crimson Field

The 6-part 2014 mini-series The Crimson Field will debut here in the US on PBS on June 21 at 10 PM.

Following the lives of nurses and their patients at a Western Front field hospital in France, this mini-series begins at the beginning of World War II with the Voluntary Aid Detachments, or VAD’s, and their arrival as the first volunteer nurses at the field hospitals on the coast of France.

The cast includes Hermione Norris (Spooks/MI5), Oona Chaplin (The Hour and Game of Thrones), Suranne Jones (A Touch of Cloth) and Kevin Doyle (Downton Abbey).

Poldark

The 8-part mini-series Poldark will start on June 21 on PBS at 9 PM.

Aidan Turner (The Hobbit and Being Human) stars as Captain Ross Poldark, a redcoat who returns to Cornwall after the American Revolutionary War to discover that his father is dead, his lands are ruined, and his true love is about to marry his first cousin. Based on a beloved series of novels by Winston Graham.

Love Again

On June 21,the Hallmark Channel movie Love Again will debut at 9 PM.

Teri Polo (The Fosters) and Paul Johansson (One Tree Hill) will star in this made-for-TV movie about a couple on the brink of divorce who decide to keep their marital woes a secret as they help their daughter plan her wedding. As the two work together on the happy occasion, they soon discover that their own marriage might just be worth saving.

Perfect Match

Perfect Match is the new Hallmark Channel movie that will debut pn June 20 at 9 PM.

When a young couple has opposing visions of their wedding day, two competing wedding planners are brought in to arrange the perfect event. As the wedding day approaches, the clashing wedding planners find romance of their own and discover that opposites can produce the most surprising results.

The cast includes Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years), Linda Gray (Dallas) and Paul Greene (Bitten).

Baby Boot Camp NEW

On June 14, the UP Channel original movie Baby Boot Camp will debut at 7 PM.

In this romantic comedy, super cute fitness instructor Julia Penman (Danneel Ackles [the wife of Supernatural star Jensen Ackles] from One Tree Hill and One Life to Live), is down on her luck trying to make her baby boot camp a thriving business. To make ends meet, she becomes a part-time nanny for single widowed father Scott (Kavan Smith from When Calls the Heart). Trouble is, she knows nothing about taking care of children.

The film also stars Miranda Frigon (A Cookie Cutter Christmas).

Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

The 7-part mini-series Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell will debut on BBC America on June 13 at 10 PM.

Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan) and Bertie Carvel (Restless) will star in this mini-series that is set at the beginning of the 19th-century in an England where no one believes in practical magic. The reclusive Mr. Norrell (Marsan) of Hurtfew Abbey stuns the city of York when he causes the statues of York Cathedral to speak and move. With a little persuasion and help from his man of business Childermass (Enzo Cilenti), he goes to London to help the government in the war against Napoleon.

Love Finds You In Charm

The new UP Channel movie Love Finds You in Charm will debut on June 7 at 7 PM.

Beautiful Emma Miller (Danielle Churchran from Nowhere Safe) would appear to be the luckiest girl in Indiana. She teaches school, has a loving family, and the town’s most eligible young man wants to marry her. But this Amish young woman has more on her mind than buggies and bonnets – she longs for adventure and wants to see the world. When given the opportunity to spend the summer with relatives in scenic Charm, Ohio, Emma jumps at the chance. There she meets an Englischer (Tiffany Dupont from Greek) who has come to town to escape her chaotic life, and despite their differences, the two become fast friends. After meeting a fascinating young man (Drew Fuller from Army Wives and Charmed), Emma finds herself pulled between two worlds. Now, she must follow her heart and decide whether to stay amongst the Amish – or leave behind everyone and everything she’s ever known. Based on the novel by best-selling Author Annalisa Daughety. Signed Sealed Delivered From Paris With Love

The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Signed Sealed Delivered From Paris With Love will debut on June 6 at 9 PM.

Poppy Montgomery (Without a Trace and Unforgettable) will play Holly, the estranged wife of lead postal detective Oliver (Eric Mabius of Ugly Betty), who suddenly returns from Paris the same day he and his Postables team, Shane (Kristin Booth from Orphan Black), Rita (Crystal Lowe from Primeval New World) and Norman (Geoff Gustafson from Primeval New World), deliver divorce papers to a happy couple.
