On October 18, the Netflix film Woman of the Hour will debut online.

This movie is the stranger-than-fiction story of an aspiring actor in 1970s Los Angeles and a serial killer in the midst of a years-long murder spree, whose lives intersect when they’re cast on an episode of The Dating Game.

The movie is directed by and stars Anna Kendrick as well as Daniel Zovatto and Tony Hale.

On October 18, the Hallmark Channel holiday movie ‘Twas the Date Before Christmas will debut at 8 PM.

To prevent her family from canceling the “Chamberlain Family Christmas Olympics,” Jessie (Amy Groening) lies and says she’s inviting a date to the long-standing holiday tradition. She meets Bryan (Ryan Buckley) on a dating app, and he agrees to spend the holiday with her and her family. As Jessie and Bryan engage in eccentric activities like the search for the Christmas tree star, gift wrapping contest and snowball fight, they start to develop real feelings for each other.

Soon her family begins to catch on to their secret and Bryan suspects she may be hiding the real reason for her unusual Christmas date request. As the celebrations continue, Jessie must work to keep all her stories straight and save her date with Bryan.

On October 10, he Hallmark+ movie Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Death at the Diner will debut online.

When a student from Aurora’s (Skyler Samuels) true crime literature class is found murdered outside the diner where she works, Aurora takes it upon herself to figure out the real culprit.

The movie also stars Evan Roderick, Marilu Henner, Steve Bacic and Kavan Smith.

On October 10, the movie Girl Haunts Boy will debut online on Netflix.

Peyton List stars as Bea, a 17-year-old girl with a deadly secret. Michael Cimino plays Cole, who moves with his mother to a new house after the death of his father. The movie follows these two as they get to know each other, including Bea’s secret. She’s a ghost from the 1920s who is trapped in the present day. While she is a ghost, she is also still a teenage girl, and that means chasing adventures and having fun.

How do you do that when you’re dead, though? Bea has haunted this house since the 1920s. It’s all thanks to a curse from an ancient ring. Never once did she fall in love, though, and she does when Cole moves into the house. Is there a way to undo the curse? That is a question that comes up, but then that means bringing the love story to an end. Does Cole really want that to happen? What about Bea, who has found love but with someone in the land of the living?
