On July 21, the new series The Hunting Wives will debut online on Netflix.

This 8-episode series was originally slated to debut on Starz, but was picked up by the streamer instead, focusing on Sophie O’Neil (Brittany Snow) and her family’s move from the East Coast to deep East Texas, where she succumbs to socialite Margo Bank’s (Malin Akerman) irresistible charms – and finds her life consumed by obsession, seduction and murder.

The ensemble cast includes Katie Lowes, Chrissy Metz, Dermot Mulroney and Jaime Ray Newman.

On July 17, the new limited series Untamed will debut online on Netflix.

This series is a character-driven mystery-thriller following Kyle Turner (Eric Bana), a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.

The cast includes Wilson Bethel, Sam Neill, Rosemarie DeWitt and Lily Santiago.

The first two episodes of the new drama The Institute will debut on MGM+ on July 13 at 9 PM.

The series follows the story of teen genius Luke Ellis (Joe Freeman) who is kidnapped and awakens at The Institute, a facility full of children who all got there the same way he did, and who are all possessed of unusual abilities. In a nearby town, haunted former police officer Tim Jamieson (Ben Barnes) has come looking to start a new life, but the peace and quiet won’t last, as his story and Luke’s are destined to collide.

The cast includes Mary-Louse Parker, Julian Richings and Martin Roach [among others].

On July 9, the new spin-off series Ballard (set in the world of the Bosch franchise) will debut online on Amazon Prime.

The series follows Detective Renée Ballard (Maggie Q) as she leads the LAPD’s new and underfunded cold case division, tackling the city’s most challenging long-forgotten crimes with empathy and relentless determination. As she peels back layers of crimes spanning decades, including a serial killer’s string of murders and a murdered John Doe, she soon uncovers a dangerous conspiracy within the LAPD. With the help of her volunteer team and retired detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), Detective Ballard navigates personal trauma, professional challenges, and life-threatening dangers to expose the truth.

The first two episodes of the new adventure series Nautilus will debut online on AMC+ as well as on AMC at 9 PM on June 29.

Inspired by the beloved Jules Verne book Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, the series follows Captain Nemo’s (Shazad Latif), an Indian Prince who was robbed of his birthright and family, as he embarks on a mission to enact revenge on the East India Mercantile Company, who took everything from him.

On June 25, the first three episodes of the new drama Countdown will debut online on Amazon Prime.

The first three episodes of the new Disney+ drama series Ironheart will debut online on June 24.

Set after the events of the box office movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the series pits technology against magic when Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world, returns to her hometown of Chicago. Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins aka The Hood (Anthony Ramos).

The new drama The Waterfront will debut online on Netflix on June 19.

For decades, the Buckley family has ruled Havenport, North Carolina, dominating everything from the local fishing industry to the town’s restaurant scene. But their fishing empire has started to crumble as patriarch Harlan Buckley (Holt McCallany) recovers from two heart attacks, and his wife Belle (Maria Bello) and son Cane (Jake Weary) venture into the deep end to keep the family businesses afloat. On June 18, the new drama We Were Liars will debut online on Netflix.

This mystery thriller is based on the novel by E. Lockhart follows Cadence Sinclair Eastman (Emily Alyn Lind) and her tight-knit inner circle, nicknamed the Liars, during their summer escapades on her grandfather’s New England private island.

The Sinclairs are American royalty – known for their good looks, old money, and enviable bond – but after a mysterious accident changes Cadence’s life forever, everyone, including her beloved Liars, seems to have something to hide.
