good-girls-revolt

On October 28, Good Girls Revolt is the latest streaming series to debut on Amazon.

In 1969, while a cultural revolution with a soundtrack to match swept through the free world, there was still one place that refused to change with the times: newsrooms. The series follows a group of young female researchers, Jane Hollander (Anna Camp from Pitch Perfect and True Blood), Patti Robinson (Genevieve Angelson from Backstrom) and Cindy Reston (Erin Darke from Kill Your Darlings), at “News of the Week,” who simply ask to be treated fairly. Their revolutionary request, led by lawyer Eleanor Holmes Norton (Joy Bryant from Parenthood) will spark convulsive changes and upend marriages, careers, sex lives, love lives, and friendships.

The cast includes Chris Diamantopoulos (The Starter Wife and Silicon Valley), Grace Gummer (Extant and Mr. Robot), Hunter Parrish (Weeds and Hand of God) and Jim Belushi (According to Jim).
