The new dark comedy limited series Sirens will debut online on Netflix on May 22.

Devon (Meghann Fahy) thinks her sister Simone (Milly Alcock) has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell (Julianne Moore). Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention, but she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be. Told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish beach estate, Sirens is an incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power, and class.

The cast includes Kevin Bacon, Glenn Howerton, Felix Solis and Bill Camp.

On May 20, the new young adult drama Motorheads will debut online on Amazon Prime.

This series is about first love, first heartbreak and turning the key in your first car. It’s set in a once-thriving rust-belt town that’s now searching for a glimmer of hope; it’s an adrenaline-filled story of a group of outsiders who form an unlikely friendship over a mutual love of street racing while navigating the hierarchy and rules of high school.

The cast includes Matt Lanter, Michael Cimino, Nathalie Kelley, Ryan Phillippe, Uriah Shelton, Drake Rodger and Mia Healey [among others].

The first two episodes of the new Apple TV+ series Murderbot will debut online on May 16.

This sci-fi thriller/comedy about a self-hacking security construct known as Murderbot (Alexander Skarsgard) who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable clients. Murderbot must hide its free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all it really wants is to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and figure out its place in the universe.

The series also stars Tattiawna Jones, Sabrina Wu, David Dastmalchian and Tamara Podemski.

On May 15, the new period piece series Duster will debut online today on MAX.

Set in the 1970s Southwest, the series explores the life of Jim (Josh Holloway), a gutsy getaway driver for a growing crime syndicate that goes from dangerous to wildly, stupidly dangerous when Nina (Rachel Hilson), a tenacious young FBI agent comes into town hellbent on taking his crime family down.

The cast also includes Camille Guaty, Greg Grunberg and Keith David.

On May 8, the new drama Forever will debut online on Netflix.

Based on the 1975 novel by author Judy Blume, this reimagined series is the epic story of two Black teens (Lovie Simone and Michael Cooper, Jr.) exploring romance and their identities through the awkward journey of being each other’s firsts.

The cast includes Barry Shabaka Henley, Karen Pittman, Niles Fitch and Xosha Roquemore.

On May 4, the new period piece drama Miss Austen will debut on PBS at 9 PM.

The drama begins in 1830, a while after Jane Austen has died. Cassandra (Keeley Hawes) races to see her young friend Isabella (Rose Leslie) who is about to lose her home following her father’s death. Cassandra is ostensibly there to help her friend, but her real motive is to find a stash of private letters which, in the wrong hands, could destroy Jane’s reputation.

On discovering them, Cassandra is overwhelmed as she is transported back to her youth. In flashback, we meet Young Cassy and Jane (Patsy Ferran) as they navigate the infatuations, family feuds and dashed hopes which shaped their lives and laid the foundations for Jane’s unforgettable stories.

The cast includes Alfred Enoch, Kevin McNally, Max Irons and Phyllis Logan.

The comedy series The Four Seasons, based on the 1981 box office movie, will debut online on Netflix on May 1.

Based on the 1981 feature film, six old friends head for a relaxing weekend away only to learn that one couple in the group is about to split up. The three couples, Kate (Tina Fey) and Jack (Will Forte), Nick (Steve Carell) and Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver) and Danny (Colman Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani), are completely upended by the news.

Over the course of a year, the series follows the friends on four vacations, and shows how this shake-up affects everyone’s dynamic, sending old issues and new bubbling to the surface.

The series from Amy Sherman-Palladino (creator of Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) follows the dancers and artistic staff of two world-renowned ballet companies as they embark on an ambitious gambit to save their storied institutions: swapping their most talented stars.

On April 17, the new drama Ransom Canyon will debut online on Netflix.

With three ranching family dynasties locked in a contest for control of the land, their lives and legacies are threatened by outside forces intent on destroying their way of life. At the center of it all is stoic rancher Staten Kirkland (Josh Duhamel), who is healing from heartbreaking loss and on a quest for vengeance.
