The new drama Blackshore will air its first two episodes online on Acorn TV on March 10.

The picture postcard town of Blackwater might be idyllic for some, but it’s hell on earth for Detective Inspector Fia Lucey (Lisa Dwan), who is facing disciplinary charges for assaulting a violent criminal. She has reluctantly returned home to a town she left many years before.

She starts investigating the recent disappearance of hotelier Roisin Hurley, a case everyone else seems strangely reluctant to pursue. After Roisin’s body is pulled out of the lake, sordid secrets emerge. Could there be a connection between these shocking crimes and the traumatic events of Fia’s childhood?

On March 6, the new comedy-drama Douglas Is Cancelled will debut online on Britbox.

Downton Abbey alum Hugh Bonneville stars as journalist Douglas Bellowes, whose life implodes after a tweet about him allegedly making a sexist joke goes viral. Doctor Who and Guardians of the Galaxy alum Karen Gillan stars as Madeline, Douglas’s co-host on a popular current affairs show.

The cast includes Ben Miles and Alex Kingston.

The series is set in Cardiff (in Wales), exploring the universal theme of parents and children through the perspective of gay adoption.

On March 2, the new MGM+ drama Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue will debut at 9 PM

A light aircraft with nine passengers crashes in the Mexican jungle – and everyone survives. But then, one after another, they begin to die in strange and violent ways and very soon they begin to realize that, for some inexplicable reason, somebody wants them dead. As the story unfolds in flashback, we meet the survivors as they fight against the heat, a shortage of supplies, the many dangers of the jungle – and each other. The setting becomes increasingly tense and claustrophobic until finally the identity of the killer and the truth are revealed.

The cast includes Eric McCormack (Will & Grace and Travelers), David Ajala (Star Trek: Discovery) and Peter Gadiot (Queen of the South and Yellowjackets).

The limited series Toxic Town will debut online on Netflix on February 27.

Based on a true story, a group of mothers fight for justice when dozens of babies in Corby are born with disabilities. This became one of the worst toxic waste scandals in UK history.

The ensemble cast includes Jodie Whittaker, Robert Carlyle, Brendan Coyle, Rory Kinnear, Claudia Jessie, Lauren Lyle, Joe Dempsie and Michael Socha.

On February 27, the new Amazon Prime drama House of David will debut online.

The series follows the once-mighty King Saul (Ali Suliman) as he falls victim to his own pride. At the direction of God, the prophet Samuel (Stephen Lang) anoints an unlikely, outcast teenager as the new king. As Saul loses his power over his kingdom, David (newcomer Michael Iskander) finds himself on a journey to discover and fulfill his destiny, navigating love, loss, and violence in the court of the very man he’s destined to replace. The series follows four members of a suburban garden club who find their lives intertwined by scandal, mischief and a shared secret – a murder no one wants to talk about. As dark truths begin to rot their lives under the surface, they struggle to remain as perfect as the flowers blooming in their garden above.

The new drama Suits LA will debut on NBC on February 23 at 9 PM.

Ted Black (Stephen Amell from Arrow and Heels), a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. The new drama A Thousand Blows will debut online on Hulu on February 21.

Show Synopsis: Inspired by the true life stories of a group of characters battling for survival in the brutal East End of London in the 1880s. Hezekiah Moscow (Malachi Kirby)and Alec Munroe (Francis Lovehall), best friends on the run from Jamaica, find themselves thrust into the criminal underbelly of London’s thriving bare-knuckle boxing scene.

As Hezekiah finds fortune and fame through the art of pugilism, he attracts the attention of the infamous Queen of the Forty Elephants, Mary Carr (Erin Doherty), who sets about exploiting his talents to further her criminal enterprise.
