Magic City

On April 6, the new Starz drama Magic City will debut at 10 PM.

This new period piece drama is set in1959, focusing on Ike Evans (Jeffrey Dean Morgan from Supernatural) who conjures ways to finance his dream. He has essentially sold his soul to the devil, mob boss Ben “The Butcher” Diamond (Danny Huston from X-Men Origins: Wolverine). Ike’s wife Vera (Olga Kurylenko from Quantum of Solace), a former showgirl, and his three children think he is an honorable man, but he just can’t break his pact with the most dangerous criminal in town.

Scandal

The new ABC drama Scandal will debut at 10:02 PM on April 5.

The series takes a look behind-the-scenes at the machinations of a mesmerizing top crisis manager, Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington), who has dedicated her life to protecting and defending the public images of the nation’s elite and keeping their secrets under wraps. The cast includes Henry Ian Cusick (Lost), Columbus Short (Stomp the Yard), Tony Goldwyn (Ghost) and Jeff Perry (Grey’s Anatomy) [among others].

The River

On February 7 the new series The River will debut on ABC at 9 PM.

The series follows the story of wildlife expert and TV personality Emmet Cole, who sets course around the world with his wife, Tess, and son, Lincoln, while filming what would become one of the most popular shows in television. After he goes missing deep in the Amazon, his family, friends and crew set out on a mysterious and deadly journey to find him.

The cast includes Bruce Greenwood, Leslie Hope, Paul Blackthorne and Joe Anderson.

Smash

The new NBC series Smash will debut at 10 PM on February 6.

A successful songwriting team, begin work on a new musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe with a tenacious producer and an acclaimed director jumping on board. A tough Broadway veteran, Ivy, seems like the obvious choice for the lead role, but enter Karen Cartwright, a young girl from Iowa with a dream of making it on Broadway who walks in and blows everyone away. The cast includes Debra Messing, Anjelica Houston, Katharine McPhee, Jack Davenport and Megan Hilty.

Luck

On January 29 the new HBO series Luck will air its official series premiere at 9 PM.

The series is takes a provocative look at the world of horse racing, including the owners, gamblers, jockeys and diverse gaming industry players.

The cast stars Dustin Hoffman, Dennis FarinaRichard Kind, Ian Hart, Jason Gedrick, Jill Hennessy and Nick Nolte (among others).

Touch

On January 25 the new FOX series Touch will have a special preview at 9 PM.

Kiefer Sutherland plays a widower and single father who is haunted by an inability to connect to his mute 11-year-old son. But everything changes when he discovers that his son possesses the gift of staggering genius – the ability to see things that no one else can and the patterns that connect seemingly unrelated events.

Alcatraz

The two-hour debut of the new FOX drama Alcatraz will debut at on January 16 at 8 PM.

Sarah Jones (Sons of Anarchy), Jorge Garcia (Lost) and Sam Neill (Jurassic Park) star as a unique team investigating the shocking reappearance of Alcatraz’s most notorious prisoners, 50 years after they vanished.

Lost Girl

On January 16 the season one US debut of the Canadian hit series Lost Girl (now in its second season in Canada) will debut on Syfy at 10 PM.

The series follows supernatural seductress Bo (Anna Silk) a Succubus who feeds on the sexual energy (sometimes called “Chi”) of humans. Growing up with human parents, Bo has no reason to believe she’s anything other than the girl next door – until she drains her boyfriend to death in their first sexual encounter. Once she hits the road, Bo discovers she is one of the Fae, creatures of legend and folklore, who pass as humans while feeding off them secretly, as they have for millennia. Relieved yet horrified to find out that she is not alone, Bo is faced with choosing an allegiance between the Dark and Light Fae clans. Bo decides to take the middle path between the humans and the Fae while embarking on a personal mission to unlock the secrets of her origin. With the help of her human sidekick, Kenzi (Ksenia Solo), Bo takes on a challenge every week helping a Fae or human client who comes to her to solve a mystery, or to right a wrong. Already in a love triangle with Dyson (Kris Holden-Ried), a sexy Fae working as a human police detective, and the beautiful human scientist, Lauren (Zoie Palmer) who works for the Fae, Bo’s love life is about to get even more complicated.

Here is a list of all the shows that will be back on TV along with several new series that will be debuting next week:

On January 15 the first two seasons of the BBC series Mistresses will air on BBC America from 9 AM to 8 PM in preparation for the debut of season 3 of the series on January 18.

Being Human (the US version) will be back for the start of its second season on Syfy at 9 PM on January 16 followed by the debut of season 1 of the hit Canadian series Lost Girl at 10 PM. The much-anticipated return of White Collar will be back for the remainder of its current season on the USA Network at 9 PM on January 17.

Also on January 17, Southland will be back on TNT at 10 PM.

90210 will be back on January 17 on The CW at 8 PM.

A new season of Justified will start on January 17 at 10 PM on FX.

On January 17, Glee will also be back with new episodes on FOX at 8 PM.

Season 3 of the BBC series Mistresses will debut on BBC America at 10 PM on January 18. The series stars Shelley Conn (Terra Nova), Orla Brady (Fringe), Sharon Small (About a Boy) and Sarah Parish (The Pillars of the Earth) as the girls get together having not seen each other for five months, before slipping back into the past to reveal what happened. When one of the girls reveals a secret, will they realize they’re better off with than without each other?

Royal Pains will be back with new episodes on the USA Network on January 18 at 10 PM.

Also on January 18, Criminal Minds and CSI will be back with new episodes on CBS at 9 and 10 PM.
