American Horror Story

The new drama American Horror Story debuts on October 5 on FX at 10 PM.

The series revolves around The Harmons, a family of three who move from Boston to Los Angeles as a means to reconcile past anguish. The cast includes Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, Taissa Farmiga, Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Denis O’Hare, Frances Conroy and Alexandra Breckenridge.

Homeland

The new show Homeland will debut at 10 PM on Showtime on October 2.

Who’s the hero – who’s the threat? When MIA Marine Sgt. Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) returns home to a hero’s welcome after eight years in enemy confinement, brilliant but volatile CIA agent Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) isn’t buying his story. She believes that Brody has been turned and is now working for Al Qaeda. What follows is a dangerous game of cat and mouse with nothing short of American national security at stake. Bedlam

The new BBC America drama Bedlam will debut on October 1 at 10 PM.

This supernatural series is set in an apartment building converted from a pre-Victorian lunatic asylum where the current inhabitants experience the darker side of the building’s history when former asylum spirits come back to claim what they believe to be theirs and seek revenge on those who have wronged them. The cast includes Will Young, Charlotte Salt, Theo James, Joanna Page and Ashley Madekwe.

Terra Nova

The new series Terra Nova will debut on FOX at 8 PM on September 26.

Show Synopsis: The show follows an ordinary family on an incredible journey back in time to prehistoric Earth as a small part of a daring experiment to save the human race. In the year 2149, the world is dying. The planet is overdeveloped and overcrowded, with the majority of plant and animal life extinct. The future of mankind is in doubt, and its only hope for survival is in the distant past. Hart of Dixie

The new series Hart of Dixie will debut on The CW at 9 PM on September 26.

Show Synopsis: Fast-talking New Yorker and brand new doctor Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson) has it all figured out. After graduating top of her class from medical school, she will follow in her father’s footsteps, becoming a cardio-thoracic surgeon. But when her dreams fall apart, she decides to accept an offer from a stranger, Dr. Harley Wilkes, to work with him at his small practice in Bluebell, Alabama. Things go quite awry once she ends up in the Hart of Dixie, though. The cast includes Jamie King, Wilson Bethel, Cress Williams, McKaley Miller and Scott Porter.

The new drama Pan Am will debut on ABC at 10 PM on September 25.

Show Synopsis: In the “modern world” of the 1960’s, air travel represents the height of luxury and Pan Am is the biggest name in the business. The planes are glamorous, the pilots are rock stars and the stewardesses are the most desirable women in the world.
