On November 2, the first two episodes of the new period piece drama Robin Hood will debut at 9 PM on MGM+.

This version of the legendary story brings a modern energy to the classic tale of the roguish outlaw hero (Jack Patten), who stole from the rich and gave to the poor. Following the Norman invasion of England, Rob – a Saxon forester’s son – and Marian (Lauren McQueen), the daughter of a Norman lord – fall in love and work together to fight for justice and freedom. As Rob rises as the leader of a band of rebel outlaws, Marian infiltrates the power at court, as both work together to thwart royal corruption and bring peace to the land.

The cast includes Sean Bean and Connie Nielsen.

On October 29, the new drama Down Cemetery Road will debut online on Apple TV+.

When a house explodes in a quiet Oxford suburb and a girl disappears in the aftermath, neighbor Sarah Tucker (Ruth Wilson) becomes obsessed with finding her and enlists the help of private investigator Zoë Boehm (Emma Thompson). Zoë and Sarah suddenly find themselves in a complex conspiracy that reveals people long believed dead are still among the living, while the living are fast joining the dead.

The cast includes Adam Godley, Adeel Akhtar and Tom Riley.

On October 26, the new thriller Anne Rice’s Talamasca: The Secret Order will debut its first two episodes online on AMC+ and will also air on AMC at 9 PM.

The series follows a secretive society which tracks supernatural beings like witches, vampires, and werewolves.

The cast includes Nicholas Denton, Elizabeth McGovern, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, William Fichtner, Jason Schwartzman and Celine Buckens.

The new limited series drama Harlan Coben’s Lazarus will debut online on Amazon Prime on October 22.

Based on an original story idea and written by the New York Times best-selling author Harlan Coben and BAFTA-winner Danny Brocklehurst, the series follows Joel Lazarus (Sam Claflin) who returns home after his father Dr. Jonathan Lazarus (Bill Nighy) dies by suicide and begins to have disturbing experiences that can’t be explained. He quickly becomes entangled in a series of cold-case murders as he grapples with the mystery of his father’s death and his sister’s murder 25 years ago.

The debut of the Blue Bloods spin-off series Boston Blue will debut on CBS on October 17 at 10 PM.

The spin-off series stars Donnie Wahlberg as NYPD officer Danny Reagan, who takes a position with the Boston PD.

Once in Boston, he is paired with detective Lena Peters (Sonequa Martin-Green), the eldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family.

The series also stars Ernie Hudson, Gloria Reuben, Maggie Lawson, Marcus Scribner and Mika Amonsen.

On October 17, the debut of the Fire Country spin-off series Sheriff Country will debut on CBS at 9 PM.

Morena Baccarin stars as straight-shooting sheriff Mickey Fox, the stepsister of Cal Fire’s division chief Sharon Leone (Diane Farr from Fire Country). She investigates criminal activity while she patrols the streets of small-town Edgewater, contending with her ex-con father, Wes (W. Earl Brown), who is an off-the-grid marijuana grower, and a mysterious incident involving her wayward daughter.

The series also stars Matt Lauria, Christopher Gorham and Michele Weaver.

On October 15, the first three episodes of the new Hulu limited series Murdaugh: Death in the Family will air online.

Maggie and Alex (Patricia Arquette and Jason Clarke) enjoy a lavish life of privilege as members of one of South Carolina’s most powerful legal dynasties. But when their son Paul (Johnny Berchtold) is involved in a deadly boat crash, the family is faced with a test unlike any they’ve ever encountered. The new drama The Last Frontier will debut online on Apple TV+ on October 10.

The series focuses on Frank Remnick (Jason Clarke), the lone U.S. marshal in charge of the quiet, rugged barrens of Alaska. His jurisdiction is turned upside down when a prison transport plane crashes in the remote wilderness, setting free dozens of violent inmates. The new drama The Gold, which debuted on Paramount+ in 2023, will make its linear TV debut on PBS at 10 PM on October 5.

This period piece, set in 1983, is inspired by one of the largest robberies in British history: the Brink’s-Mat robbery. On November 26, 1983, six armed men broke into the Brink’s-Mat security depot near London’s Heathrow Airport and inadvertently stumbled across gold bullion worth £26m — the disposal of which led to a vast international money laundering operation and left controversy and murder in its wake.

The cast includes Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey), Jack Lowden (Slow Horses), Dominic Cooper (Agent Carter and Captain America: The First Avenger) and Tom Cullen (Becoming Elizabeth) [among others].
