On July 27, the new half-hour action series Twisted Metal will debut online on Peacock.

Based on the classic PlayStation game, the series is a high-octane action comedy about a motor-mouthed outsider offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a badass axe-wielding car thief, he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.

The show stars Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, the voice of Will Arnett and Richard Cabral.

The Paramount+ series Special Ops: Lioness will debut online on July 23.

Joe (Zoe Saldana) attempts to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the spear in the CIA’s war on terror. She enlists Cruz (Laysla De Oliveira), a Marine Raider, as an undercover operative in the Lioness Program.

The ensemble cast includes Nicole Kidman, LaMonica Garrett, Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman, Jill Wagner and Dave Annable.

The reboot series Justified: City Primeval will premiere its first two episodes on FX at 10 PM on July 18.

Having left the hollers of Kentucky 15 years ago, Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) now lives in Miami, a walking anachronism balancing his life as a U.S. Marshal and part-time father of a 15-year-old girl (played by Olyphant’s own daughter Vivian Olyphant). His hair is grayer, his hat is dirtier, and the road in front of him is suddenly a lot shorter than the road behind. A chance encounter on a desolate Florida highway sends him to Detroit.

There he crosses paths with Clement Mansell (Boyd Holbrook), aka The Oklahoma Wildman, a violent, sociopathic desperado who’s already slipped through the fingers of Detroit’s finest once and aims to do so again. Mansell’s lawyer, formidable Motor City native Carolyn Wilder (Aunjanue Ellis), has every intention of representing her client, even as she finds herself caught in between cop and criminal, with her own game afoot as well.

The cast includes Marin Ireland, Norbert Leo Butz, Vondie Curtis Hall, Ravi Patel and Adelaide Clemens.

An investigation into a botched kidnapping uncovers long-held secrets connecting multiple characters and cultures in present day New York City.

The Canadian drama Moonshine will make its American debut on The CW on July 3 at 9 PM.

This raucous one-hour dramedy tells the story of the Finley-Cullens, a dysfunctional family of adult half-siblings battling to take control over the family business.

On June 28, the new Apple TV+ series Hijack will debut online.

Told in real time, this thriller follows the journey of a hijacked plane as it makes its way to London over a seven hour flight and authorities on the ground scramble for answers.

Idris Elba plays Sam Nelson, an accomplished negotiator in the business world who needs to step up and use all his guile to try and save the lives of the passengers – but, his high-risk strategy could be his undoing.

Archie Panjabi plays Zahra Gahfoor, a counter terrorism officer who is on the ground when the plane is hijacked and becomes part of the investigation.

On June 26, the Acorn TV drama Cannes Confidential will debut its first two episodes online.

This high-concept detective series centers on the bicker-banter relationship between no-nonsense detective Camille Delmasse (French TV actor Lucie Lucas) and charming international conman Harry King (Battlestar Galactica alum Jamie Bamber). Thrown together solving crimes on the French Riviera, Camille and Harry’s relationship lies at the heart of the show against a luxurious Cannes backdrop. Camille and Harry’s chemistry is complicated by Camille’s colleague and wing-woman, Léa Robert (Tamara Marthe), and a deal they make to free Camille’s ex-Chief of Police father from corruption charges.

Shelly Mohan (Charlene McKenna) is a super mom in this suspenseful Irish drama. She can juggle the complex lives and schedules of her 3 kids and her husband, who is a detective. Her life is chaotic and hectic, but mostly thankless. Her life is happy though until a dark secret emerges from her past. She then makes a fatal choice to prevent the truth from surfacing.

On June 21, the new drama Secret Invasion will debut online on Disney+.

Set in the present day MCU, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross (Martin Freeman), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) and the Skrull Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.
