On December 22, the new Passionflix series The Secret Life of Amy Benson, based on the book Escaping Reality by author Lisa Renee Jones will debut its first two episodes online.
After losing her entire family, Amy (Maddie McCormick) has spent several years on the run from unknown danger. When she meets Liam on a flight she has no idea her life is about to change, for his part Liam (Casey King) plans to help her whether she likes it or not.

On December 22, the small screen adaptation of the box office film The Best Man: The Final Chapters will debut on Peacock online.
This limited series will catch up with Harper (Tage Diggs), Robyn (Sanaa Lathan), Jordan (Nia Long), Lance (Morris Chestnut), Quentin (Terrence Howard), Shelby (Melissa De Sousa), Candace (Regina Hall) and Murch (Harold Perrineau) as relationships evolve and past grievances resurface in the unpredictable stages of midlife crisis meets midlife renaissance.
The cast also includes Brandon Victor Dixon, Nicole Ari Parker and Ron Canada [among others].

The Yellowstone prequel series 1923 will debut online on Paramount+ on December 18.
This is the next origin story in the Yellowstone franchise that introduces a new generation of Duttons led Academy Award nominee Harrison Ford as Jacob Dutton and Academy Award winner Helen Mirren as Cara Dutton.
The series will explore the early 20th century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west and the Duttons who call it home.
The ensemble cast includes James Badge Dale, Jerome Flynn, Marley Shelton, Michelle Randolph, Brian Geraghty, Darren Mann, Julia Schlaepfer, Brandon Sklenar and Aminah Nieves. Timothy Dalton also appears in the series.
NOTE: The show will also have its network debut on December 18 on Paramount Network at 9 PM after a new episode of Yellowstone.

The small screen adaptation of National Treasure: Edge of History will debut its first two episodes online on Disney+ on December 14.
The series is told from the point of view of a young heroine, Jess (Lisette Olivera) – a brilliant and resourceful DREAMer in search of answers about her family – who embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to uncover the truth about the past and save a lost Pan-American treasure.
The series also stars Harvey Keitel and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

The limited series Kindred will debut online on December 13 on FX on Hulu.
The limited series centers on Dana James (Mallori Johnson), a young Black woman and aspiring writer who has uprooted her life of familial obligation and relocated to Los Angeles, ready to claim a future that, for once, feels all her own. But, before she can settle into her new home, she finds herself being violently pulled back and forth in time.

On December 2, the Freevee holiday movie Hotel for the Holidays will debut online.
The movie revolves around an ensemble of staff and guests at the charming Hotel Fontaine in New York City during Christmastime. Georgia (Madelaine Petsch) is an ambitious young woman and the manager of the high-end hotel, which attracts guests of all kinds—including heartbroken singles, an infamous pop star, and a European ex-prince who recently abdicated his throne—all looking to escape from their everyday lives and come to the hotel as a sanctuary during the holiday season. Georgia’s work and personal life become entangled when she is caught between the charming hotel chef Luke (Mena Massoud) and the sophisticated ex-prince staying at the hotel.

The new Peacock series Irreverent will debut online on November 30.
A criminal mediator from Chicago is forced to flee his life and everything he knows and hide out in a small Australian reef community in Far North Queensland posing as the new church Reverend. “Reverend Mackenzie Boyd” (P.J. Bryne) has made a mess so bad he can never go home, but he’s going to need all his considerable street smarts to pull off posing as clergy – something he doesn’t know the first thing about.
