On April 8, the new ABC drama Rebel will debut at 10 PM.

Inspired by the life of Erin Brockovich today, Annie “Rebel” Bello (Katey Sagal) is a blue-collar legal advocate without a law degree. She’s a funny, messy, brilliant and fearless woman who cares desperately about the causes she fights for and the people she loves. When Rebel applies herself to a fight she believes in, she will win at almost any cost.

The reboot of Kung Fu will debut on The CW at 8 PM on April 7.

A quarter-life crisis causes a young Chinese-American woman, Nicky Shen (Olivia Liang), to drop out of college and go on a life-changing journey to an isolated monastery in China. But when she returns to San Francisco, she finds her hometown is overrun with crime and corruption and her own parents (Tzi Ma and Kheng Hua Tan) are at the mercy of a powerful Triad.

On March 26, the new Netflix mystery drama The Irregulars will debut online.

The 8-episode series follows a gang of troubled street teens who are manipulated into solving crimes for the sinister Doctor Watson (Royce Pierreson) and his mysterious business partner, the elusive Sherlock Holmes (Henry Lloyd-Hughes). As the crimes take on a horrifying supernatural edge and a dark power emerges, the Irregulars [based on the Baker Street gang from the original Sherlock Holmes novels] must come together to defeat larger than life forces.

The series premiere of The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers will debut on Disney+ online on March 26.

Now a powerhouse in its division, the Mighty Ducks junior hockey team is selective about who makes the cut. On March 21, the 8-part National Geographic Channel’s anthology series Genius: Aretha will debut with its first two hours at 9 PM.

Broadway and movie star Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple and Harriet) will start as Aretha Franklin. The movie will explore Franklin’s musical genius and her incomparable career, as well as the immeasurable impact and lasting influence she has had on music and culture around the world.

The cast ensemble includes Courtney B. Vance, David Cross, Malcolm Barrett, Kimberly Hebert Gregory and Rebecca Naomi Jones.

On March 21, the Australian series The Gloaming will debut on Starz at 9 PM.

The story is about an unorthodox and troubled policewoman, Molly McGee (Emma Booth), who leads an investigation into the murder of an unidentified woman.
