On April 6, the new Acorn TV 4-part series Deadwater Fell will debut online.

Dr. Kendrick (David Tennant), a trusted, admired and much-liked member of the community, who is a doting father to three little girls, is seemingly the loving husband whose marriage to Kate (Anne Madeley) appears nothing short of perfect. But in one night the illusions of happiness and contentment are shattered as the community is drawn to Kate and Tom’s home in the forest by the flicker of flames and the smell of smoke.

Amid the confusion, Kate and her children are found dead, and Tom, found unconscious in his bed, is rushed to the hospital. As more suspicious details of that night emerge, Jess – who was Kate’s best friend and closest confidante – becomes desperate to understand what could have caused such a tragedy, and what secrets lie at the root of this terrible act.

Tales From the Loop is the new streaming series set to debut on Amazon on April 3.

Inspired by the wondrous paintings of Simon Stålenhag, the series explores the mind-bending adventures of the people who live above the Loop, a machine built to unlock and explore the mysteries of the universe – making things previously relegated to science fiction, possible.

The series stars Jonathan Pryce, Rebecca Hall and Paul Schneider.

On April 3, the new streaming series Home Before Dark will debut on Apple TV+.

The series follows a young girl who moves from Brooklyn to the small lakeside town her father left behind. While there, her dogged pursuit of the truth leads her to unearth a cold case that everyone in town, including her own father, tried hard to bury.

Inspired by the reporting of young investigative journalist Hilde Lysiak.

The cast includes Brooklyn Prince, Jim Sturgess, Joelle Rogers, Abby Miller and Michael Weston.

On March 30, the new WGN America series Almost Paradise will debut at 10 PM.

Christian Kane (The Librarians, Leverage and Angel) stars as Alex Walker, a former US DEA agent who was forced into early retirement. Once the DEA’s most resourceful undercover operative, the combination of his partner’s betrayal and a life-threatening battle with hypertension has sent him as far from the madness as he can go… a small tropical island in the Philippine Archipelago.

On March 27, the new Syfy series Vagrant Queen will debut at 10 PM.

Inspired by the Vault comic of the same name, the series focuses on Elida (Adriyan Rae), an orphaned queen who refuses to accept her true title. Instead, she prefers to scavenge and get into scrapes throughout the galaxy as the Republic government seeks to snuff out her royal bloodline. Elida’s existence is turned upside down when her friend from way back, Isaac (Tim Rozon of Wynonna Earp fame), claims that Elida’s mother, Xevelyn, is still alive. With some help from a new ally, Amae (Alex McGregor), Elida and Isaac “stage a rescue that will take her back into the perilous heart of her former kingdom and up against a deadly foe from her childhood, Commander Lazaro (Paul du Toit).

The new NBC drama Council of Dads will debut on March 10 at 10 PM.

When a loving father of four has his entire life’s plan thrown into upheaval by an unexpected health scare, he calls on a few of his closest allies to step in as back-up dads for every stage of his growing family’s life. Scott assembles a trusted group of role models that includes Anthony (Clive Standen), his oldest friend; Larry (Michael O’Neill), his AA sponsor; and Oliver (J. August Richards), his surgeon and best friend to his wife, Robin. These men agree to devote themselves to supporting and guiding Scott’s amazing family through all the triumphs and challenges life has to offer – just in case he ever can’t be there to do so himself.

The show will also star Sarah Wayne Callies and Tom Everett Scott.

The limited series chronicles the true story of Madm C.J. Walker, who was the first African-American self-made millionaire.

On March 18, the new Freeform supernatural series Motherland: Fort Salem will debut at 9 PM.

Set in an alternate, present-day America where witches ended their persecution 300 years ago by cutting a deal with the burgeoning U.S. government to fight for their country, following three young women from basic training in combat magic into terrifying and thrilling early deployment.

The cast of newbies includes Amalia Holm, Ashley Nicole Williams, Demetria McKinney, Jessica Sutton, Kai Bradbury, Sarah Yarkin and Taylor Hickson.

The new drama Little Fires Everywhere will debut on Hulu on March 18.

This limited series will star Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington (who also serve as executive producers) is about the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives.

On March 16, The Plot Against America will debut on HBO at 9 PM.

Based on the acclaimed Philip Roth novel, this six-part limited series imagines an alternate American history, told through the eyes of a working-class Jewish family in New Jersey as they watch the political rise of aviator-hero and xenophobic populist Charles Lindbergh, who becomes president and turns the nation toward fascism.

The series follows David Krumholtz, John Turturro, Winona Ryder and Zoe Kazan.
