The HBO Max movie Mortal Kombat will debut online on April 23.

Why has Outworld’s emperor sent his best warrior, Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim), to hunt down MMA fighter Cole Young (Lewis Tan)? In search of answers, Cole finds his way to the temple of Lord Raiden (Tadanobu Asano) and begins unlocking the secrets of his heritage. As Outworld’s threat to Earthrealm grows, Cole joins warriors Liu Kang (Ludi Lin), Kung Lao (Max Huang), and Kano (Josh Lawson) in a high stakes battle for the soul of the universe.

Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

Both 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star will return on April 19, with new episodes on FOX at 8 and 9:01 PM respectively.

Also on April 19, the AMC drama The Secrets She Keeps will debut at 10 PM. Two women have a chance encounter in a supermarket in an affluent Sydney suburb. They are the same age, both heavily pregnant and due at the same time. Meghan (Jessica De Gouw) is an online influencer on the rise. Agatha (Laura Carmichael) works in the supermarket as a shelf stacker.

The season finale of Queen Sugar will air on OWN at 8 PM on April 20.

Also on April 20, the two-hour debut of Cruel Summer will air on Freeform at 9 PM. The psychological thriller that follows two young women: Kate Wallis (Olivia Holt) , the popular girl with a charmed life who one day goes missing, and Jeanette Turner (Chiara Aurelia), the nerdy wannabe who is accused of being connected to Kate’s disappearance. All signs point to Jeanette’s guilt, but is Kate really who she seems to be? Set over three summers and told through shifting points of view, the series challenges perception and follows how one girl can go from being a sweet outlier to the most despised person in America. The cast includes Sarah Drew, Michael Landes, Brooklyn Sudano and Harley Quinn Smith.

The spring finale of Good Trouble will air on Freeform on April 21 at 10 PM.

The UPtv movie Designed With Love will debut on April 25 at 7 PM. Clothes designer Skye (Kelly Van Der Burg) goes mobile with a “fashion truck” – but she can’t drive the truck and run the business alone.
