Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On August 3, the Quibi remake of The Fugitive will debut online. When a bomb rips through the Los Angeles subway train he’s riding on, blue-collar Mike Ferro (Boyd Holbrook) just wants to make sure his wife, Allison (Natalie Martinez), and 10-year-old daughter, Pearl (Keilani Arellane), are safe. But the faulty evidence on the ground and “tweet-now, confirm-later” journalism paint a nightmarish picture: it looks to all the world that Mike was responsible for the heinous act. Wrongfully—and very publicly—accused, Mike must prove his innocence by uncovering the real perpetrator, before the legendary cop heading the investigation can apprehend him. Kiefer Sutherland will play Det. Clay Bryce. and Genesis Rodriguez will play Det. Sloan
On August 5, The 100 will return with new episodes on The CW after a three week break at 8 PM followed by the debut of the Canadian drama Coroner will debut at 9 PM. The new drama stars Serinda Swan as Jenny Cooper, a recently-widowed coroner in Toronto who investigates suspicious deaths. The cast includes Roger Cross.
The season finale of Doom Patrol will air on HBO Max and DC Universe on August 6.
The new movie Love on Harbor Island will debut on the Hallmark Channel on August 8 at 9 PM. When Seattle interior designer Lily Summers (Morgan Kohan) returns to her hometown to help her Aunt Maggie run her bed and breakfast by the marina, she meets Marcus (Marcus Rosner), the handsome seaplane pilot whose life’s work delivering rescue dogs helps Lily discover that home really is where the heart is.
On August 9, the 7th season premiere of Endeavour will air on PBS at 9 PM while that same night, the season finale of Perry Mason will air at 9 PM on HBO and also on August 9, The Alienist: The Angel of Darkness will air its 2nd season finale on TNT at 10 PM.
Also, lastly on August 9, Showtime has picked up the BBC Studios drama We Hunt Together, which will debut at 10 PM. The series explores the intoxication of sexual attraction and the dangerous power of emotional manipulation. As two conflicted detectives (Eve Myles and Babou Ceesay) track down a pair of deadly killers (Hermione Corfield and Dipo Ola), the series reveals how finding a volatile form of solace in another can have dire consequences.
