Movie of the Week Reminder: Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado

On July 2, the new movie Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado will debut on Nickelodeon at 7 PM.

Dora (Samantha Lorraine), Diego (Jacob Rodriguez) and their new friends brave the treacherous Amazonian jungle, racing to uncover the legendary Sol Dorado treasure before villainous forces claim its immense power. Voices will be provided by Jacqueline Obradors and Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias.

The movie also stars Maria Cecilia Botero and Daniella Pineda.

Movie of the Week Reminder: The Old Guard 2

The sequel movie The Old Guard 2 will debut online on Netflix on July 2.

This superhero film finds Andy (Charlize Theron) struggling to live out her life after losing her immortality. That is until she and her group of immortals – KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Matthias Schoenaerts, Van Veronica Ngo and Chiwetel Ejiofor – come out of hiding to fight the first of the immortals who threatens the world.

New cast members include Uma Thurman and Henry Golding.

On July 2, the new movie Heads of State will debut online on Amazon Prime.

This action-comedy stars Idris Elba as the UK Prime Minister and John Cena as the US President, who have a public rivalry. But they are forced to team up and rely on each other when they become targets of a foreign adversary. They must work together to thwart a global conspiracy. They are also joined by a brilliant MI6 agent, played by Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

New Show Introduction: Nautilus

The first two episodes of the new adventure series Nautilus will debut online on AMC+ as well as on AMC at 9 PM on June 29.

Inspired by the beloved Jules Verne book Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, the series follows Captain Nemo’s (Shazad Latif), an Indian Prince who was robbed of his birthright and family, as he embarks on a mission to enact revenge on the East India Mercantile Company, who took everything from him.

Movie of the Week Reminder: A Machu Picchu Proposal

The Hallmark Channel movie A Machu Picchu Proposal will debut on June 28 at 8 PM.

Katie (Rhiannon Fish) agrees to join her brother Dan and his girlfriend Luciana on a trip to Peru. Dan plans to propose to Luciana in a grand way at Machu Picchu at the end of the week and needs Katie’s Spanish speaking skills to ask Luciana’s Peruvian father for his blessing.

However, when Luciana’s friend, Chef Carlos (Alec Santos), arrives, he accidentally ruins each proposal attempt. Refusing to give up, Katie does everything in her power to make this proposal happen, until Dan calls it off. Katie must lean into Chef Carlos’ spontaneity to not only save the day and the proposal, and Carlos may just win Katie’s heart too.
