The movie Another Simple Favor will debut online on Amazon Prime on May 1. The movie also stars Michele Morrone, Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Alex Newell and Elizabeth Perkins (who takes over the role of Emily’s mother from Jean Smart, who portrayed the character in the first film).

Also on May 1, the comedy series The Four Seasons, based on the 1981 box office movie, will debut online on Netflix. Based on the 1981 feature film, six old friends head for a relaxing weekend away only to learn that one couple in the group is about to split up. The three couples, Kate (Tina Fey) and Jack (Will Forte), Nick (Steve Carell) and Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver) and Danny (Colman Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani), are completely upended by the news. Over the course of a year, the series follows the friends on four vacations, and shows how this shake-up affects everyone’s dynamic, sending old issues and new bubbling to the surface.

The movie special Inheritance will debut online on AMC+ on May 2. When Maya (Phoebe Dynevor from Bridgerton) learns her father Sam was once a spy, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an international conspiracy. As she seeks answers, Maya herself becomes a target and must quickly learn the skills of her father. The cast includes Rhys Ifans and Necar Zadegan.

Also on May 2, S.W.A.T. will now appear in its new timeslot of 9 PM on CBS starting tonight.

The Hallmark Channel movie Hats Off to Love will debut on May 3 at 8 PM. Stella (Broadway’s Ginna Claire Mason) designs hats and fascinators for socialite Rosalind and meets her son Christian who’s training a horse to compete in the Louisville Derby. The movie also stars John Clarence Stewart (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) and Holly Robinson Peete.

On May 4, the second season premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City will air on AMC at 9 PM as well as online on AMC+; meanwhile on that same night, the first part of the two-part season finale of Watson will air on CBS at 9 PM followed by the series finale of The Equalizer at 10 PM. NOTE: The Equalizer was cancelled two days before the finale was set to air.

Lastly, the new period piece drama Miss Austen will debut on PBS at 9 PM on May 4. The drama begins in 1830, a while after Jane Austen has died. Cassandra (Keeley Hawes) races to see her young friend Isabella (Rose Leslie) who is about to lose her home following her father’s death. Cassandra is ostensibly there to help her friend, but her real motive is to find a stash of private letters which, in the wrong hands, could destroy Jane’s reputation. On discovering them, Cassandra is overwhelmed as she is transported back to her youth. In flashback, we meet Young Cassy and Jane (Patsy Ferran) as they navigate the infatuations, family feuds and dashed hopes which shaped their lives and laid the foundations for Jane’s unforgettable stories. The cast includes Alfred Enoch, Kevin McNally, Max Irons and Phyllis Logan.

Mark your calendars!
