The series tells the story of one year within the walls of the palace of a modern European regime as it begins to unravel.

The British murder thriller Murder Is Easy, based on the Agatha Christie novel, will debut online Britbox on March 1.

Luke Fitzwilliam (David Jonsson) is a Nigerian attaché on his way to Whitehall when he meets the mysterious Miss Pinkerton (Penelope Wilton) on a train. Pinkerton discusses with him that a series of deaths in the village of Wynchwood-Under-Ashe are not accidental and there’s a killer on the loose. Later, Miss Pinkerton is also found dead, and Fitzwilliam steels himself to discover the murderer before he strikes again.

The cast includes Morfydd Clark and Tom Riley.

On March 1, the Amazon Prime comedy thriller Dead Hot will debut online.

Set in present-day Liverpool, twentysomethings Elliot and Jess (Bilal Hasna and Vivian Oparah respectively) are best friends united by a bond of grief at losing Peter – the first and only love of Elliot and Jess’ twin brother. It’s been five years since Peter went missing under mysterious circumstances, and still reeling from the trauma, the best friends spiral into a hedonistic lifestyle, partying to numb their grief while clinging to a small hope that they will one day find out what happened.

When Elliot meets Will, he starts to think he can put the past behind him. But when Elliot learns Will has his own dark secrets, just as Jess is contacted by somebody claiming to be her brother, it sets into motion a determination for the pair to find out if Elliot’s romantically cursed – or being targeted.

Downton Abbey alum Penelope Wilton and Peter Serafinowicz co-star.

Here is the list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

On February 26, the debut of County Rescue will air at 8 PM on Great American Family. The network’s first ever original series, an action-adventure medical drama, focuses on Dani (Julie Reilly) and other EMT’s in training who are courageous, everyday heroes; but with only one opening for three trainees, Dani’s faith in herself is tested each and every call. Dani believes her calling is to save lives, and now she has to prove it. The series also stars Stacey Patino, Percy Bell, Tim Perez-Ross, Riley Hough, Keller Fornes, Angel Luis, Kristin Wollett and Brett Varvel. NOTE: The 2-hour debut of this series did not take place on February 17 as originally announced.

The series premiere of the new version of Shogun will air on February 27 on both FX on Hulu and on FX at 10 PM (the first two episodes). When a mysterious European ship is found marooned in a nearby fishing village, Lord Yoshii Toranaga (Hiroyuki Sanada) discovers secrets that could tip the scales of power and devastate his enemies. The cast includes Cosmo Jarvis and Anna Sawai.

On February 28, Code 8: Part II, the sequel movie will debut online on Netflix. The sequel follows a girl fighting to get justice for her slain brother by corrupt police officers. She enlists the help of an ex-con and his former partner, and they face a highly regarded and well protected police sergeant who doesn’t want to be. The movie stars Robbie Amell, Stephen Amell, Aaron Abrams and Alex Mallari Jr.

The second season of The Tourist will premiere online on Netflix on February 29.

Also on February 29, the new CBS drama Elsbeth will debut at 10 PM. Carrie Preston (The Good Wife) stars as Elsbeth Tascioni, an astute but unconventional attorney who, after her successful career in Chicago, utilizes her singular point of view to make unique observations and corner brilliant criminals alongside the NYPD. The cast includes Carra Patterson and Wendell Pierce.

On March 1, the comedy adventure series The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin will debut online on Apple TV+. The series is set in the 18th century, focusing on Dick Turpin (Noel Fielding) who sets out on a journey of wildly absurd escapades when he’s made the reluctant leader of a band of outlaws – and tasked with outwitting corrupt lawman and self-appointed thief-taker Jonathan Wilde (Hugh Bonneville). The cast includes Tamsin Greig.

Six months into a solitary research mission to the edge of the solar system, an astronaut, Jakub (Adam Sandler), realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth. Desperate to fix things with his wife, Lenka (Carey Mulligan), he is helped by a mysterious creature from the beginning of time he finds hiding in the bowels of his ship. Hanuš (voiced by Paul Dano) works with Jakub to make sense of what went wrong before it is too late. The cast includes Carey Mulligan as Jakub’s earthbound wife Lenka, Kunal Nayyar as technician Peter and Isabella Rossellini as Commissioner Tuma, Jakub’s commanding officer.
