New Show Introduction: The Last of Us

On January 15, the HBO drama The Last of Us will debut at 9 PM.

The series takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel (Pedro Pascal), a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl (Bella Ramsey), out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal and heartbreaking journey as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.

The cast includes Anna Torv, Ashley Johnson, Gabriel Luna, Merle Dandridge, Graham Greene, Jeffrey Pierce, Melanie Lynskey, Nick Offerman and Storm Reid [among others].
