Ratings: Fall TV (Tuesday, October 13)

The primetime line-up on the major networks last night was filled with reality, game shows, news and football, but there were new episodes of four Tuesday night dramas, including the season premiere of one series.

Here is how those four Tuesday night dramas fared in the overall ratings last week:

Swamp Thing (The CW) [NEW] – 805,000 viewers

9 PM Shows:
NEXT (FOX) [NEW] – 1.5 million viewers
Tell Me A Story (The CW) [NEW – Season Premiere] – 477,000 viewers

On October 18, the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Reunited and It Feels So Deadly will debut at 9 PM.

Aurora’s high school reunion turns deadly when a body is found in the hotel pool. Aurora and her Real Murders Club help investigate which classmate was most likely to kill.

The movie stars Candace Cameron Bure, Niall Matter and Marilu Henner.

New Show Introduction: The Trouble with Maggie Cole

On October 18, the UPtv movie The Time Capsule will debut at 7 PM.

After ten years, a group of high school friends reunite at their alma mater’s field house to dig up their time capsule. When they open the time capsule they decide to relive their fun high school moments which inspire a newfound relationship as well as heal broken hearts.

The cast includes Shane Harper, Penelope Mitchell, Shanica Knowles, Gregg Wayans, Chris Kattan and Reginald VelJohnson.

Ratings: Fall TV (Sunday, October 11 and Monday, October 12)

Sunday night was filled with sports, movies, animation and repeats with only one Sunday night drama airing a new episode. Meanwhile, on Monday night, it was much the same with sports, reality, some news and repeats took over most of the primetime line-up with only on Monday night drama airing a new episode.

Movie of the Week Recommendation: Sweet Autumn

The Hallmark Channel movie Sweet Autumn will debut on October 17 at 9 PM.

Maggie (Nikki DeLoach), a successful entrepreneur, returns home for a will reading and discovers she’s inherited half of her aunt’s famed maple candy business. What she doesn’t understand is why Aunt Dee’s maple supplier, Dex (Andrew Walker), inherited the other half. Her return also coincides with the town’s Sweet Autumn Fest, and through a series of letters Aunt Dee left, Maggie and Dex search for the reason behind her aunt’s final wishes.

As she and Dex grow closer, Maggie must decide if the life she built is the one she wants.
