It was a full night of programming on the major networks last night with lots of comedies and repeats as well as a few new episodes of Thursday night dramas, that included an early season finale for one.

New Show Introduction: The Baker and the Beauty

The new ABC series The Baker and the Beauty will debut on April 13 at 10 PM.

Daniel Garcia (Victor Rasuk) is working in the family bakery and doing everything that his loving Cuban parents and siblings expect him to do. But on a wild Miami night he meets Noa Hamilton, an international superstar and fashion mogul, and his life moves into the spotlight.

The series also stars Carlos Gomez, Lisa Vidal, Nathalie Kelley and Dan Bucatinsky.

New Show Introduction: Paradise Lost

On April 13, the new 10-part series Paradise Lost will debut on Spectrum online.

Set in small town Mississippi, this southern gothic mystery follows prodigal son, Yates Forsythe (Josh Hartnett), as he returns to his hometown with his wife, Frances (Bridget Regan) – a woman very new to this very old community. As explosive secrets become unearthed, Yates’ loyalties are tested as he struggles to choose between his past and his future.

The cast includes Barbara Hershey, Elaine Hendrix, Nick Nolte and Silas Weir Mitchell.

New Show Introduction: Baptiste

On April 12, the new PBS 6-part drama Baptiste will debut at 10 PM.

Tchéky Karyo reprises his role as mercurial French detective Julien Baptiste (from The Missing). While on holiday in Amsterdam with his wife, he assists in an investigation for his former girlfriend, the Amsterdam Chief of Police.

Tom Hollander and Jessica Raine (Call the Midwife) also star.

New Show Introduction: Belgravia

The new 6-part drama Belgravia will debut on EPIX on April 12 at 9 PM.

Set in the 19th Century, the story focuses on what happens when the Trenchards accept an invitation to the now legendary ball hosted by the Duchess of Richmond on the fateful eve of the Battle of Waterloo. This sets in motion a series of events that will have consequences for decades to come as secrets unravel behind the porticoed doors of London’s grandest neighborhood.

Written by Julian Fellows (the man behind Downton Abbey).

The ensemble cast includes Tom Wilkinson, Harriet Walter, James Fleet, Ella Purnell and Philip Glenister.
