Here is the short list of the programming options to expect on TV this week:
On January 28, the new TNT drama I Am The Night will debut at 9 PM. Inspired by true events, the series tells the gripping story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley), a teenage girl who is given away at birth, and grows up outside of Reno, Nevada. Fauna lives more-or-less comfortably with the mysteries of her origin, until one day she makes a discovery that leads her to question everything. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets of her past, she meets a ruined reporter (Chris Pine), haunted by the case that undid him. Together they follow a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Los Angeles gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), a man involved in some of Hollywood’s darkest debauchery, and possibly, its most infamous unsolved crime. The cast includes Connie Nielson, Leland Orser and Yul Vazquez [among others].
The season finale of Vikings will air on the History Channel on January 30 at 9 PM.
On February 1, the Amazon Prime streaming series The ABC Murders will debut online. Based on the Agatha Christie crime-solver Hercule Poirot (John Malkovich), the series is set in the 1930s with Poirot facing a serial killer known only as A.B.C. First the killer strikes in Andover, then Bexhill. As the murder count rises, the only clue is the copy of The ABC Railway Guide at each crime scene. Among the ensemble cast is Rupert Grint.
The Hallmark Channel movie Valentine in the Vineyard will debut on February 2 at 8 PM. This is the third movie in the franchise starring Rachael Leigh Cook and Brendan Penny, as Frankie and Nate (respectively), who manage life on their vineyard while planning a wedding in secret. The cast also includes Teryl Rothery, Marcus Rosner and Tegan Moss.
