On May 1, the new limited series A Small Light will debut on National Geographic at 9 PM.

This limited series tells the remarkable true story of secretary Miep Gies (Bel Powley), who was a young, carefree and opinionated woman – at a time when opinions got you killed – when her boss, Otto Frank (Liev Schreiber), asked her to help hide his family from the Nazis during WWII. Without hesitation, Miep agreed.

For the next two years, she and her daring and devoted husband Jan (Joe Cole), with several other everyday heroes, watched over the Frank, van Pels and Pfeffer families hiding in the secret annex.

The cast includes Eleanor Tomlinson and Ian McElhinney [among others].

On May 1, the new 5-episode limited series White House Plumbers will debut on HBO at 9 PM.

This is a behind-the-scenes look at the Watergate scandal, focusing on President Richard Nixon’s political saboteurs, E. Howard Hunt (Woody Harrelson) and G. Gordon Liddy (Justin Theroux), as they accidentally topple the presidency they were zealously trying to protect and their families along with it.

The ensemble cast includes David Krumholtz, Domhnall Gleeson, F. Murray Abraham, Ike Barinholtz, John Carroll Lynch, Judy Greer, Kathleen Turner, Kiernan Shipka, Kim Coates, Lena Headey, Liam James, Tony Plana, Yul Vazquez and Zoe Levin.

The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Spring Breakthrough will debut on April 30 at 7 PM.

Single mother Monica Rollins (Keesha Sharp) excitedly waits for her daughter, Vivian (Rhyon Nicole Brown), to come home for Spring Break, their annual tradition. Days before, after years of tireless dedication to her job, Monica is unceremoniously fired. The small screen adaptation of Fatal Attraction will debut online on Paramount+ on April 30.

The 6-episode reimaging of the classic psychosexual thriller stars Joshua Jackson and Lizzy Caplan in the lead roles.

The series will explore fatal attraction and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity through the lens of modern attitudes toward strong women, personality disorders and coercive control.

On April 30, the new PBS drama Tom Jones will debut at 9 PM.

Solly McLeod (House of the Dragon) stars as the handsome, resourceful Tom while Sophie Wilde (You Don’t Know Me) stars as the beautiful and bright, seemingly unattainable love of his life, Sophia Western. He is a foundling of uncertain parentage, while she is an heiress. In 18th-century England, their class differences make their journey to find each other complicated and treacherous. Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham stars as the seductive and vengeful Lady Bellaston, who comes between Tom and Sophia.

The cast also includes James Fleet, Pearl Mackie, Tamzin Merchant and Shirley Henderson (among others).

On April 29, the Hallmark Channel movie Hearts in the Game will debut at 8 PM.

Hazel Miller (Erin Cahill) is a top publicist in New York City looking to build her empire. Diego Vasquez (Marco Grazzini) is a top MLB pitcher who froze during Game 7 of the World Series. He also happens to be the guy who shattered Hazel’s heart in high school. When Hazel is tasked with spinning Diego’s image, it might be her biggest challenge professionally, and personally, as she takes him back to their hometown in Ohio to deal with what they’ve both left behind.

On April 28, the new Amazon drama Citadel will debut its first two episodes online.

Eight years ago, Citadel fell. The independent global spy agency – tasked to uphold the safety and security of all people – was destroyed by operatives of Manticore, a powerful syndicate manipulating the world from the shadows. With Citadel’s fall, elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) had their memories wiped as they narrowly escaped with their lives. They’ve remained hidden ever since, building new lives under new identities, unaware of their pasts.

Until one night, when Mason is tracked down by his former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), who desperately needs his help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order. Mason seeks out his former partner, Nadia, and the two spies embark on a mission that takes them around the world in an effort to stop Manticore, all while contending with a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous-yet-undying love.
