The two-hour series premiere of the new National Geographic Channel drama Valley of the Boom will air on January 13 at 9 PM.

Silicon Valley spawned some of the world’s most influential people and recognizable brands during the 1990s tech bubble. The series pulls back the curtain and introduces the audience to the real stories of these founders’ friendships, rivalries, victories and failures. Told with unparalleled access to the most groundbreaking and prominent figures in the tech world, the six-part limited series will follow the stories that made the history of the era.

The cast includes Bradley Whitford (The West Wing), Steve Zahn (The Crossing) and Lamorne Morris (New Girl).

On January 12, the Hallmark Channel movie One Winter Proposal is set to debut at 8 PM.

Cara (Taylor Cole) and Ben (Jack Turner) are back in this sequel to One Winter Weekend. Visiting the resort to rekindle their love, the two bring along Megan (Rukiya Bernard) and Sean (Dewshane Williams), and hope they can also find a spark. During the trip, Cara discovers a receipt from a jewelry store, but it might not be the engagement ring she’s hoping for.

On January 11, the new Amazon Prime drama Informer will debut online.

The series centers on Raza (Nabhaan Rizwan), a young, aimless second-generation Pakistani living in east London. After he gets busted on a minor drug charge following a night out with friends, counterterrorist agent Gabe (Paddy Considine) manipulates him into becoming an informer. Meanwhile, Gabe is hiding his own secrets from his nosy and ambitious new field partner Holly (Bel Powley).

The new History Channel series Project Blue Book will debut on January 8 at 10 PM.

Based on the true, Top Secret investigations into Unidentified Flying Objects and related phenomena conducted by the United States Air Force from 1952-1969, the series follows the personal experiences of Dr. J. Allen Hynek (Aidan Gillen from Game of Thrones), a brilliant college professor recruited by the U.S. Air Force to spearhead this clandestine operation that researched thousands of cases, over 700 of which remain unsolved to this day. Each episode will draw from the actual case files blending UFO theories with authentic historical events from one of the most mysterious eras in United States history.

The series also stars Michael Malarkey (The Vampire Diaries).

On January 8, the new Freeform drama Good Trouble – the spin-off series from The Fosters – will debut at 8 PM.

The series follows Callie (Maia Mitchell) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) as they embark on the next phase of their young adult lives in Los Angeles, as Mariana tackles the male-dominated world of tech and Callie faces the harsh realities of the federal legal system clerking for a federal judge.

After moving to The Coterie in Downtown Los Angeles, Callie and Mariana realize that living on their own is not all that it’s cracked up to be. Faced with new neighbors, new challenges and, of course, new romances, the sisters must depend on one another to navigate the City of Angels.

On January 5, the Hallmark Channel movie Winter Castle is expected to debut at 9 PM.

Born and raised in sunny California, Jenny is thrilled when her sister Meg decides to have a destination wedding at an ice hotel. Jenny is immediately entranced by the magical décor of the hotel and also finds herself instantly smitten with Craig, the handsome best man. Will the romance of the gorgeous wintry hotel bring them together?

On December 29, the Hallmark Channel holiday movie A Midnight Kiss will debut at 8 PM.

With only one week to prepare, Lisa Patterson and her family of party planners are given the biggest job in their company’s history: a New Year’s Eve party for tech entrepreneur Megan Clark. But when her brother breaks his leg and her parents head off on a planned vacation, Lisa must reluctantly enlist the help of her brother’s visiting college buddy, David Campos, to help her pull off the event which just so happens to fall on her favorite day of the year. But what Lisa didn’t plan on was falling in love in the process.

The film stars Carlos PenaVega and Adelaide Kane.

When Calls the Heart: The Greatest Christmas Blessing movie will debut on December 25 at 9 PM on the Hallmark Channel.

When a group of orphans become stranded in Hope Valley for Christmas, their caretakers — sisters who have a mysterious backstory — lead Bill (Jack Wagner) to investigate the circumstances of their arrival. He discovers the sisters and their orphanage are in jeopardy, so Abigail (Lori Loughlin) and the other residents rally to make it a Christmas to remember for the orphans.

Elizabeth (Erin Krakow), who is preparing for the birth of her child, organizes her students to engage in selfless gift-giving. That, along with a Christmas miracle, help bring wonder, hope, joy, and love to all this Christmas season.

Other regular cast members who will appear in the special include Pascale Hutton, Kavan Smith and Paul Greene [among others].

On December 25, the Call the Midway Holiday Special will air on PBS at 9 PM.

Sister Mildred (Miriam Margoyles) arrives unexpectedly at Nonnatus House with her hands full with four Chinese orphans. Having fled China, the child refugees were found abandoned in Hong Kong and are being adopted in the U.K. as part of the World Refugee Project. With Christmas preparations in full flow and the midwives busy caring for the expectant mothers of Poplar, these unexpected visitors cause joy and chaos in equal measure.

The special also sees Trixie return to Poplar in time to cover for the Sisters as they leave for the Mother House. The Order’s Mother Superior has taken ill, and a new spiritual leader needs to be elected. It soon becomes clear, much to Sister Julienne’s horror, that she is the favored candidate.
