The Hallmark Channel movie Wedding March 2: Resorting to Love will debut on June 17 at 9 PM.
In the follow-up to last year’s The Wedding March 2, where former college sweethearts Olivia (Josie Bissett from the original Melrose Place) and Mick (Jack Wagner from When Calls the Heart) unexpectedly reunited, the two become partners in running a wedding resort.
As they work side by side in this new venture, they learn that although their business relationship is flawed and not working there just may be romance in their future.
On June 10, The Perfect Bride is the new Hallmark Channel movie that will debut at 9 PM.
Fitness instructor Molly Winters (Pascale Hutton from When Calls the Heart and Sanctuary) runs the very popular Bridal Boot Camp, helping prospective brides-to-be get in shape, mind, body and soul, for their big day. But things get complicated when she meets Nick (Kavan Smith, her on-screen husband on When Calls the Heart), the fiancé of one of her new “recruits,” and sparks fly. As Molly’s feelings for Nick grow, she finds herself trying to help someone else get ready to marry the man she is falling in love with.
The cast includes Leanne Lapp (iZombie), Anna Van Hooft (Cedar Cove) and Mark Dacascos (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.).
On June 4, the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Site Unseen: An Emma Fielding Mystery will debut at 9 PM.
Based on the series of novels by famed historical archaeologist turned fiction writer Dana Cameron, Courtney Thorne-Smith (Life with Jim and Melrose Place) stars as Emma Fielding, a brilliant, dedicated, and driven archaeologist who discovers artifacts that have been lost for hundreds of years–and she’s very, very good at it. Emma has recently unearthed evidence of a possible 17th century coastal Maine settlement that predates Jamestown, one of the most significant archaeological finds in years.
But the dead body she uncovers on the site pushes Emma into a different kind of exploration. Her dig site is suddenly in jeopardy of being shut down, due to the meddling of local treasure-hunters and a second suspicious murder. Emma must team with the handsome FBI Agent investigating the case to dig up dirt on the killer, before Emma and her excavation are ancient history.
The Hallmark Channel movie Destination Wedding will debut on June 3 at 9 PM.
Ellie (Alexa PenaVega from Nashville) has been painstakingly planning her sister Mandy’s destination wedding for the longest time. She is excited as guests begin arriving at the idyllic beach resort but is somewhat nonplussed when one of them turns out to be her ex-boyfriend Greg (Jeremy Guilbaut from When Calls the Heart), who is the groom’s best man.
When Mandy (Andrea Brooks from Supergirl) and her fiancé don’t show up, Ellie and Greg must lie to the guests and assure them everything is okay when it clearly isn’t. With the wedding fast approaching and Mandy’s attendance a question mark, Ellie and Greg scramble to stave off disaster while simultaneously falling back in love with each other.
On June 2, Date My Dad is the new UP Channel series to debut at 9 PM.
This family dramedy tells the story of a single dad Ricky Parker (Barry Watson from 7th Heaven), raising his three daughters alone. Three years after losing their mother, the daughters make it their mission to get their dad back in the game: the dating game, that is.
The cast includes Cindy Busby (Cedar Cove and the Hallmark Channel movie Unleashing Mr. Darcy), Willie Aames (Eight is Enough), Lochlyn Munro (Riverdale) and legendary actress Raquel Welch.
The new ABC series Still Star-Crossed will debut on May 29 at 10:01 PM.
The period piece picks up where the famous story of Romeo and Juliet ends, charting the treachery, palace intrigue and ill-fated romances of the Montagues and Capulets in the wake of the young lovers’ tragic fate.
The cast includes Anthony Head (Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and Merlin), Grant Bowler (Defiance), Torrance Coombs (Reign), Zuleikha Robinson (Lost) and Sterling Sulieman (Pretty Little Liars).
On May 27, the Hallmark Channel movie All for Love will debut at 9 PM.
After a string of successes, romance novelist Jo Parker (Sara Rue from Less Than Perfect and Popular) is worried that she’s lost her Cupid’s touch. She herself has sworn off relationships, her sales are down and her last book was a critical and commercial disaster replete with factual errors. Jo is badly in need of a success and her publisher isn’t happy with her first draft of “SEALed with a Kiss,” featuring a hunky Navy Seal hero. With her career in balance, Jo unenthusiastically commits herself to an immersive research course with an openly skeptical retired Seal, Colin Shaw (Steve Bacic from When Calls the Heart), who runs a military-style boot camp. As Jo embarks on the grueling regimen alongside aspiring Seals and Marines, she discovers capabilities she didn’t know she had and contributes to her team in ways no one expected. From their rocky beginnings, writer and sailor develop a mutual respect and perhaps something more — but can art really imitate life?

Valor – In this new drama, an elite unit of U.S. Army helicopter pilots called the Shadow Raiders are sent on a top secret mission to Somalia, a mission that goes terribly awry. Only two members of the team return safely: Warrant Officer Nora Madani (Christina Ochoa from Animal Kingdom), one of the unit’s first female helicopter pilots, and her commanding officer, Captain Leland Gallo (Matt Barr from Sleepy Hollow), while the whereabouts of their comrades Jimmy Kam (W. Tre Davis from Shades of Blue) and Crank Hendrix (Mac Brandt from Colony) are unknown. Now back in the U.S., Madani and Gallo are the only ones who know the truth about what really went wrong in Somalia.

Dynasty – Fallon Carrington (Elizabeth Gillies from Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll) is charismatic, cunning, and poised to become the new COO of her father’s global energy empire – or so she thinks. When her father, Blake Carrington, (Grant Show from the original Melrose Place) summons Fallon and her brother, Steven, (James Mackay from The Leftovers) home to the family compound in Atlanta, Fallon is horrified to learn that the reunion isn’t to announce her promotion – but rather to make the acquaintance of their stepmother-to-be, Cristal (Nathalie Kelley from The Vampire Diaries). Cristal is driven, principled, a savvy publicity maven at Carrington Atlantic, and she truly loves Blake. Family dynasties flow through blood, and Fallon would sooner draw blood than call Cristal “Mom.” Fallon asks Culhane (Robert Christopher Riley from Hit the Floor), the family’s chauffeur – and Fallon’s secret lover – to help expose Cristal for the fraud Fallon thinks she is. But when that backfires, and Blake chooses Cristal over his own daughter, Fallon sidles up to Blake’s biggest rival, Jeff Colby (Sam Adegoke from Murder in the First), mixing business and pleasure to seek her revenge… leaving a jealous Culhane to watch from the sidelines. Black Lightning – Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams from Veronica Mars and Hart of Dixie) is a man wrestling with a secret. As the father of two daughters and principal of a charter high school that also serves as a safe haven for young people in a New Orleans neighborhood overrun by gang violence, he is a hero to his community. Nine years ago, Pierce was a hero of a different sort. Gifted with the superhuman power to harness and control electricity, he used those powers to keep his hometown streets safe as the masked vigilante Black Lightning. However, after too many nights with his life on the line, and seeing the effects of the damage and loss that his alter ego was inflicting on his family, he left his Super Hero days behind and settled into being a principal and a dad. Choosing to help his city without using his superpowers, he watched his daughters Anissa (Nafessa Williams from One Life to Live and Code Black) and Jennifer (China Anne McClain from A.N.T. Farm and House of Payne) grow into strong young women, even though his marriage to their mother, Lynn (Christine Adams from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), suffered. Almost a decade later, Pierce’s crime-fighting days are long behind him…or so he thought. LIFE SENTENCE – This dramedy follows Stella (Lucy Hale from Pretty Little Liars), a girl who has spent the last eight years living like she was dying (because she was). Just like the “manic pixie dream girl” heroines in her favorite sappy cancer movies, Stella traveled the world, faced her darkest fears and found true love on a whirlwind trip to Paris. But when Stella finds out that her cancer has been cured, she is suddenly forced to face the long-term consequences of the “live in the moment” decisions she made, including marrying a total stranger. And if that’s not enough, she also finds out that her “perfect family” isn’t so perfect after all. Turns out, because she was dying, everyone in her life hid their problems from her. But, now that she’s well, all bets are off. Stella is shocked to learn that her parents, Peter (Dylan Walsh from Nip/Tuck) and Ida (Gillian Vigman from Suburgatory and New Girl), have fallen out of love, partly because Peter spent their retirement helping Stella make the most of her final days, and partly because Ida has fallen in love with her best friend (Stella’s godmother), Poppy. Also, it turns out Stella may be responsible for the fact that her sister, Elizabeth (Brooke Lyons from 2 Broke Girls and iZombie), gave up her own dreams to take care of Stella and start a family with her husband Diego (Carlos PenaVega from Big Time Rush), just to give her parents something positive to focus on. Then there’s Stella’s often overlooked brother, Aiden (Jayson Blair from The New Normal), who’s pushing 30 and still lives above the garage, sells Adderall to soccer moms and uses Stella’s cancer to guilt them into sleeping with him. And, of course, there’s her husband Wes (Elliot Knight from Once Upon a Time and American Gothic), a handsome Londoner who she agreed to spend the rest of her life with, thinking that would only be six to eight months, tops. Now that their forever just got a whole lot longer than they were expecting, Wes begins to worry that he can’t continue to pretend to be her perfect husband for the rest of his life. With a real future suddenly in front of her, Stella’s cinematic life snaps into reality, and instead of living like she’s dying, she will have to learn to live like she’s living, and help her family and friends do the same. This multi-generational, coming-of-age story proves that we all end up living somewhere between our dreams and reality… and maybe that’s okay.

The new drama that will debut later in the season is:
Instinct – Alan Cumming (The Good Wife) stars as Dr. Dylan Reinhart a former CIA operative who is lured back to his old life when the NYPD needs his help to stop a serial killer. Reinhart is a gifted author and university professor living a quiet life teaching psychopathic behavior to packed classes of adoring students. But when top NYPD detective Lizzie Needham (Bojana Novakovic from Shameless) appeals to him to help her catch a serial murderer who is using Dylan’s first book as a tutorial, Dylan is compelled by the case, comes out of retirement and taps into his old skill set.
The cast also includes Naveen Andrews (Lost) and Khandi Alexander (CSI: Miami and Scandal).
Also, Star Trek: Discovery will premiere this fall on CBS All Access. The show revolves around the USS Discovery, introducing new characters seeking new worlds and civilizations while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers. The cast includes Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead), Rain Wilson (The Office), Doug Jones (Falling Skies), James Frain (Orphan Black and Gotham) and Jason Isaacs (the Harry Potter franchise). Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) will recur.

Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey) plays the notorious poisoner Mary Ann Cotton, who grew up in poverty with the dream of escaping the hard life of a miner’s family, a goal she came tantalizingly close to achieving.
