On April 25, the 10-part National Geographic series Genius will debut at 9 PM.

The first-ever scripted series, based on the Walter Isaacson book, features Geoffrey Rush as Professor Albert Einstein and Emily Watson as his second wife – and first cousin – Elsa. The story goes beyond the halls of academia to explore his struggles to be a good husband and father, and a man of principle during a period of global unrest.

The new series Mary Kills People will debut on Lifetime on April 23 at 10 PM.

The series is set around the life of Dr. Mary Harris (Caroline Dhavernas from Hannibal and Wonderfalls), an overworked single mother and ER doctor who also moonlights as an underground angel of death, working outside the law assisting patients who want to die on their own terms.

The cast includes Jay Ryan (Beauty and the Beast), Lyriq Bent (Rookie Blue), Greg Bryk (Bitten) and Richard Short (666 Park Avenue).

On April 22, the Hallmark Channel movie The Perfect Catch will debut at 9 PM.

When her high school boyfriend, a superstar baseball player, returns to town, a single-parent (Nikki Deloach from Awakard and the Hallmark Channel movies A Dream of Christmas and Christmas Land) finds the inspiration to reinvent her struggling diner and revisits the past to find something even better for the future.

The film also stars Andrew Walker (from the Hallmark Channel movies Love on Ice, A Dream of Christmas and Date with Love).

The HBO film The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks will debut on April 22 at 8 PM.

Oprah Winfrey and Rose Byrne (Damages) will star in the small screen adaptation of Rebecca Skloot’s critically acclaimed book that tells the story of Henrietta Lacks, an African-American woman whose cells were used to create the first immortal human cell line.

Told through the eyes of her daughter, Deborah Lacks (Winfrey), the film chronicles her search, with the help of journalist Rebecca Skloot (Byrne), to learn about the mother she never knew and understand how the unauthorized harvesting of Lacks’ cancerous cells in 1951 led to unprecedented medical breakthroughs, changing countless lives and the face of medicine forever.

The new Freeform drama Famous in Love will debut at 8 PM.

Based on the novel by Rebecca Serle, the series follows ordinary college student Paige (Bella Thorne) as she gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster. She must now navigate her new star-studded life and the highs and lows that come with being the new It Girl in town as well as balancing her college workload.

The cast includes Carter Jenkins (Surface), Perrey Reeves (Covert Affairs and Entourage), Pepi Sonuga (The Fosters), Charlie DePew (The Goldbergs), Keith Powers (Faking It) and newcomers Georgie Flores and Niki Koss.

The limited series tells the story of a couple whose relationship and values are tested when they liberate a political prisoner and form a radical underground cell in 1970s London.

The cast includes Idris Elba, Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and Babou Ceesay (A.D. The Bible Continues).

The 8-episode original, limited series The White Princess, based on the novel by Philippa Gregory, will debut on April 16 on Starz at 8 PM.

Set in 15th century England this series is a gripping historical drama told from the perspective of the women waging the ongoing battle for the English throne: Lizzie (Jodie Comer from Thirteen), Lady Margaret Beaufort (Michelle Fairley from Game of Thrones) and Dowager Queen Elizabeth Woodville (Essie Davis from Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries).

The Hallmark Channel movie Moonlight in Vermont will debut on April 8 at 9 PM.

After fast-paced New York City high-end real estate broker Fiona Rangely (Lacey Chabert) gets dumped by her boyfriend, she escapes to her family’s quaint Vermont Inn for a few days to slow down and evaluate her life. When her ex-boyfriend Nate shows up at the Inn with a brand new girlfriend, Fiona quickly devises a plan to win him back: pretend the handsome and very laid-back head chef Derek (Carlo Marks from Chesapeake Shores) is her new boyfriend! Much to the surprise of Derek — and to Fiona herself — in pretending to be in love, Fiona realizes she’s been thrown a curveball: her busy and scheduled life may not be what she really wants, discovering that sometimes the best things in life can’t be rushed and are worth the wait.
