A Prince for Christmas

On November 29, the ION original holiday movie A Prince for Christmas will debut at 9 PM.

Experiencing cold feet about his upcoming arranged royal wedding, a Prince steals away incognito to the US in search of true love. Pretending to be somebody he isn’t, our Prince on the lam meets Emma, a diner waitress, whose Christmas needs considerable brightening.

The film stars Viva Bianca (Spartacus: War of the Damned), relative newcomer Kirk Barker, Maxwell Caulfield (Grease 2 and Empire Records) and Kelly LeBrock (Weird Science).

Christmas in the Smokies

The INSP holiday movie Christmas in the Smokies will debut on November 29 at 8 PM.

Clinging to the only life she’s ever known, Shelby Haywood (Sarah Lancaster from Chuck), a headstrong woman along with her loving parents – Wade and Annie Haygood (Barry Corbin from Northern Exposure and Blood & Oil and Rebecca Koon from The Notebook) finds herself on the verge of losing her family’s berry farm in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, to an impending retail expansion.

Over one eventful holiday season, she tries every avenue possible to save the farm. But, when the local town leaders notify her that they will have to seize the property after the holidays, her last hope to unite the town, is to throw a Christmas concert on the farm, headlined by her former love Mason Wyatt (Alan Powell from The Song and Where Hope Grows), a ne’er-do-well country music superstar. As the day of the concert approaches, they all must learn the value of family, faith and community—before time runs out.

The cast includes Jill Wagner (Teen Wolf and the made-for-TV movie Autumn Dreams) and Greg Alan Williams (Baywatch and Secrets and Lies).

On November 29, The Christmas Gift is the new Lifetime holiday movie that will debut at 9 PM.

When ten-year-old Megan receives a Secret Santa gift, she is touched by its contents which end up having a huge impact on her life. Now a driven young journalist, Megan can’t shake her desire to thank the person who sent her that heartfelt gift over a decade ago. Determined to prove herself to her editor, she goes on the search for the perfect Christmas story, and in doing so, she finally discovers who her Secret Santa is.

Inspired by a true story, starring Michelle Trachtenberg (Gossip Girl) and Rick Fox (Hit The Floor).

The Christmas Note

November 29 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie The Christmas Note will debut at 9 PM

Gretchen (Jamie-Lynn Sigler from The Sopranos) returns to her hometown with son Ethan and meets her new neighbor Melissa under unusual circumstances. Melissa’s mother has passed away, and the two form a reluctant friendship when Melissa discovers she has a sibling she never knew about. Through their detective work, Gretchen and Melissa grow closer and uncover a huge surprise that will change everything.

The film also stars Leah Gibson (The Returned).

Angel of Christmas

On November 29, the Hallmark Channel movie Angel of Christmas will debut at 8 PM.

A holiday Grinch ever since her boyfriend dumped her on Christmas, newspaper staffer Susan (Jennifer Finnigan from Tyrant) gets her first big break to write her own headline story — but ironically, the story is a Christmas-themed account of her own family’s carved wooden Christmas Angel — an angel that supposedly has magical properties to bring true lovers together.

The film also stars Jonathan Scarfe (Ties That Bind) and Holly Robinson Peete (21 Jump Street)

A Gift Wrapped Christmas

The new Lifetime holiday movie A Gift Wrapped Christmas will debut on November 28 at 8 PM.

Personal shopper Gwen’s newest client, Charlie, is a high-rolling, workaholic, single father. When Gwen meets his 8-year-old son, Owen, during a package drop, she is saddened to see just how little time Charlie spends with him. Determined to get Charlie to appreciate his family, Gwen makes it her Christmas mission to get him into the festive spirit. As she gets closer to Charlie and Owen, she also discovers what she wants for the holidays.

The film stars Meredith Hagner (Men at Work), Travis Milne (Rookie Blue) and Beverley Mitchell (7th Heaven).

A Christmas Detour

The Hallmark Channel movie A Christmas Detour will debut at 8 PM

Two NYC bound travelers find themselves inextricably linked when a snowstorm waylays their flight to an airport hotel in Buffalo. Eternal optimist and hopeless romantic, Paige Summers (Candace Cameron Bure), desperately needs to find a way to the city to meet her fiancé’s parents before her wedding – and it’s up to a guy she can’t stand, fellow passenger and total stranger Dylan MacKenzie (Paul Greene from Bitten), who is permanently soured on romance after his girlfriend broke his heart. Still Dylan rises to the occasion to become Paige’s off-white Knight in shining armor. Joining them are Frank and Maxine Gambert, who are heading to Connecticut to spend Christmas with their daughter. As their madcap adventure ensues, our foursome will be forced to face a lot more surprises than the ever changing snowstorm preventing each of them from getting home.

South.of.Hell

On November 27, the new scripted drama South of Hell will debut all 7 episodes on WE tv starting at 6 PM.

Charleston, South Carolina is an elusive city with many faces and the perfect home for Maria Abascal (Mena Suvari), a stunning, 30-year-old demon-hunter-for-hire. Alongside her brother, David (Zachary Booth from Keep the Lights On), she is skilled and fearless in her pursuit of the demons that live in others. Like those that she hunts, Maria is divided within herself, struggling with her own demon, Abigail, who resides inside of her, feeding on the evil Maria exorcises from others. Maria and Abigail share a soul and a destiny, but as Maria desperately tries to overtake Abigail, she will discover how far Abigail will go to remain a part of her.

Crown For Christmas

The Hallmark Channel movie Crown for Christmas will debut on November 27 at 8 PM.

Allie (Danica McKellar), a fired maid from a ritzy NYC hotel, takes a job as a governess to a young girl who is part of a powerful family in Europe. After reluctantly accepting, and upon arrival at the castle, learns the girl is Princess Theodora and that her father is Maximillion, the King of Winshire (Rupert Penry Jones). Max informs Allie that the Princess prides herself on terrorizing authority figures and has gotten worse since her mother’s death. As the story unfolds, we see Allie bond with Theodora and also helps to bring Theodora and her father together.

And through all of this, a spark forms between Allie and Max. However, Countess Celia is expecting to wed the King. Will Max take a stand for his feelings for Allie and make it truly a merry Christmas for all?

12 Gifts of Christmas

On November 26, the Hallmark Channel movie 12 Gifts of Christmas will debut at 8 PM

When Anna Russo, an unemployed fine arts painter, is unable to make ends meet, she is hired to become a personal Christmas shopper for Marc, an uptight corporate exec. As they begin working together, Marc learns that Christmas giving has less to do with the amount of money spent and more to do with the importance of the gift, while Anna discovers she might find success as an artist in a way she never expected. The best gift of all of course is the love they discover with one another.

The film stars Katrina Law (Arrow), Aaron O’Connell (The Haves and Have Nots) and Donna Mills (Knots Landing).
